Zaura is based off of the generic post apocalyptic teenager
Carissa is based off of Macy (Macy is from another work of mine)
Michael is based off of Adam from the bible
Jake is based off of a stuffed owl I had when I was a kid.
My characters started out as Han Solo, Severus Snape, and Ringo Starr, if I'm going to be honest. I wrote a bunch of fan fictions of them having adventures together, and they morphed into completely different people and now we're here.
Those three together honestly sounds like the best thing ever
I have a character based off of Ghengis Khan.

Ikar is based off Icarus from "The Myth of Daedalus and Icarus"
Julien is based off Julien Sorel from Stendhal's novel "The Red and the Black"
Rym is based off the demon Harborym
Scarlett and Emma were based off of me when I was younger, a more scientific me and a more reckless me in essence. Laura was sort of based off a friend of mine. Cole is kind of based off my younger siblings. Angelo was based off the idea of having the complete opposite of the older sibling stereotype; adult-like, reliable, ambitious. Clara was my idea of "A girl can fight." Roane is the "classic" middle sibling and the opposite to Clara: level-headed, good at negotiating, etc. Andrea was based off the idea of the complete opposite of the youngest sibling: the joker, the baby, etc. Anthony was my idea of a essentially, 'perfect' gentleman and a foil to Laura. Alexa was sort of based off an old friend of mine, and the unfortunate things of only child, neglectful parents.
-drekkion was initially based on the song "circus monster" but i might have based him off myself at some point, and i think i also based him off of the tsundere archetype
-ebony was based on a dream i had that inspired my story and so were scratchmire and querna, but i partially based ebony off of my best friend
-lux was inspired by the song "closer" (by the tiny) and by queenie from "fantastic beasts and where to find them", although i also based her off of my other best friend
-noir was based on h.p. lovecraft, jules verne, virginia clemm, the story of the poe toaster, and various urban legends regarding men in black
-ed was based on edgar allan poe himself and by the song "crybaby"
-afalsi was inspired by the main protagonist of "the girl from the other side" and by "starwolf and rabbitgirl", but she later went on to be influenced by the same friend who inspired ebony and i kind of based her off of jareth from "labyrinth"
-dansik was based off of david bowie
Raziel was originally based on me when i was younger, but now she's based on the thought "hmmm, would i want to be friends with her? let's go with no i would hate her if i didn't know her"
Apollo was based on a dream i had, the whole dream had a lot of different emotions, but after developing my story a little bit, i figured out who i wanted them to be
Nova was based on self care, but she was also meant to be Raziel's equal (she'd argue that she was better than Raziel) but she was meant to be a genius so she could sort of push Raziel around so she would get angry when she knew she didn't have anyone to protect.
My protagonist Robin (Invalid Character) Is loosely based on Jinx from the book 'Jinx' and the whole book is kinda like Maze Runner I guess? He's also based on me, except I'm not afraid of heights

Arcadia is based off Arcade Fire ( specifically their song Reflektor )
Juno Aegis is based off Hells Bells by AC/DC
Yan Hi is based off of Girl With One Eye by Florence and the Machine
Delta Athan is based off of Delta Rae ( specifically Bottom of The River )
Huron Citali is based off Lord Huron ( Specifically Ends of The Earth )
Pheonix is based off The Pheonix by Fall Out Boy ( but also Believer by Imagine Dragons )
Saturn Reilly is based off of Saturnz Barz by Gorillaz
aaand Kristi Perri is based off the song Black Ice by AC/DC.
Algieba isn't really based off a song but I immediately think of "I was waiting for this moment" from the ( pmmm ) Rebellion OST.
Other than that though Juno is also based off the goddess Juno, and Yan Hi is sort of a reference to Jotaro from JJBA. In the same story, Algieba and Pheonix are kinda like Dio and Pucci. Saturns design is also heavily based off of Soul from Soul Eater. Pheonix's magic is also heavily related to the mythological creature, and Algieba and their design/fate is also a very very heavy reference to Yubel from Yu-gi-oh! GX.

Jayla Torez is sort of based on Eponine Thenardier.
