Idk why I thought of this but (as an american) I'm picturing someone able to manipulate someone's perception of the world around them. (bc politics rn.) Like, if you're hungry, they can make you not hungry, but you still actually need food. Basically the power of illusion except no manipulating what they physically see just what they feel. Like making someone feel bugs all over them, or extreme pain. (feel free to disregard) (I have no idea why but I pictured this person looking like the chocolate loving boy from Willy Wonka- the one who gets sucked into the river)
