I kind of just want to hear about other peoples' cute ships… Talk about as many as you'd like. Romantic ships, platonic ships? Anything is fair game. I might share some of mine too, if I feel like it later.

@Story_Siren group

I have two characters, a girl and guy, who're just platonic. They're best friends, and everyone keeps asking when they'll ask the other out. They get really mad because of this. They're also really sweet with each other, like hugging each other a lot, talking about the meaningful stuff, things like that

uGh OK SO THIS IS LITERALLY THE CUTEST RELATIONSHIP I HAVE

It’s in a REALLY old RP with my best irl friend and it’s where a lot of my creativity and OCs came from, as well as an intense need for ships.

We shipped literally all of our characters and one pair was so fricking cute oml

It was a gay couple but they were made for each other. At first my character hated hers because of the decisions he made, but her character warmed up to him eventually. Her character was ordered to go check on mine (because he went into emotional slumps constantly) and they just kinda hooked up but they’re the purest couple ever omlllllll

bec i have so many details but you’d get so tired of it ☺️

I can’t wait to see yours!

(If you want to share details, I totally want to hear them! That's kind of why I made this chat- so we can just scream about our OTPs that we made and no one else understands but us)

Alright, so I'm not very far into writing their actual relationship outside of an RP situation, but in my story about dragon riders, I have two young men. There's Aurelius, a caretaker for baby dragons who really likes to read and is generally intellectual, but he's kind of reckless sometimes, and while he has wonderful intentions, he's a disaster. Then there's Pollux. He is a trained fighter, but his primary job is a medic, and he's set as next in line to be his village's main medic. He is very calm, cool, and confident, and he cares deeply about others, but knows where to stop when he needs to take care of himself. But then the events of the story unfold (in other words, the "bad guys" for lack of a better term, start destroying villages that host dragon riders), and they end up joining forces, despite living a few hundred miles away from each other in the beginning. And their dynamic is awful at first. There's Aurelius, who has basically taken on the role of leader because he's the only one willing. Then there's Pollux, who is looking to their so-called leader for plans, but sees right away that he has none. Not only that, but that he's constantly overexerting himself and taking unnecessary risks. So after clashing for some time (never too hard, usually just small debates and poking fun at each other), Pollux realizes that Aurelius really is no leader, and he needs to keep him in check, make sure he takes care of himself, that sort of thing. But that's about as far as I got… All I know is that they're good for each other. It may not end up being romantic, if it ends up feeling forced (as I am careful with in all relationships I write), but if I can help it, it will be.

This is a fun way to sum up one of my fav oc ships: He was boy. She was an unholy abomination mistakenly birthed from the voids permissiveness. Can I make it any more obvious?

Stephen and Izzy are two teens that bicker a lot but they love each other and die after getting engaged
Leah and Jayson had a slow burn romance before they got seperated. Jayson basically is indebted to his mob boss sister so she won't harm Leah.
Francesca and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) are a soft boy/strong girl pairing. They're married and have a baby. Until some death happens.
Fern and Huxley fall in love in a forbidden romance way since she's a princess and he's supposed to assassinate her.
Jon and Meg meet and like each other at first but fall in love when Meg rescues Jon during the war.
Nell and Therese have a soft girl/snarky girl dynamic and are a fluffy cute couple.
Joan and Samuel are a 'are they friends or dating??' couple
Darius and Winifred are a 'I'd do anything for you!' couple
Amira and Sara are the cute and fluffy couple.

@Althalosian-is-the-father book

Sorace and Siry. They start out as enemies pretty much because Siry is a jerk. Then she gradually begins to love him. (It takes a book for them to become friends. Then another book for the serious romance to get going.)

@ITryReallyHard

Charlie and Edwin- They are already dating by the time the story starts but have an unstable relationship due to being gay princes in 1200AD. They end up defying everyone just so they could be together and in the end Edwin's father found out and sentenced Charlie to death and stabbed his own son. Charlie managed to kill Edwin's father but then ended up killing himself over the grief of losing his boyfriend and over sinking to the level of murdering someone.

devil might cry

One of my RP buddies and I have these two characters in this setting that initially started out with a sort of one-sided rivalry where my character felt compelled to constantly outdo the other, not realizing that she was really just subconsciously trying to show off and impress her. The two came to mutually respect and admire each other through time, and eventually, my character came to terms with her feelings and decided that the best possible moment to confess was when they were both stuck in a situation where they could die at any given moment.

(Nice username)
And I'm really enjoying hearing about all of your ships because I tend to write tragedy, not romance, so this is all really welcome and heartwarming. Plus, it's not like you can scream about your OC ships to real life friends…

@HighPockets group

Teagan and Erica are sometimes soft sometimes overcompetive girlfriends.
Julie and amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) are the cute and nice girlfriends (and it also means that Jackson and Morgan get parents-in-law who don't hate them for their respective orientations because amy (the most wonderful woman in the world)'s moms are lesbians.)
Della and Theo are friends to lovers dorks.

@HighPockets group

Nich and Therese, who bond over time spent in prison, arm injuries, snark, and a shared love for Nell (Nich's is familial and Therese's is romantic)
