Salmook: Parvus? Parvus got kicked? Salmook doesn't particularly like Parvus, but he still feels a little bad. he sits down next to his pater on the ground, trying not to burst into tears. Pater wouldn't want that, would he? Salmook doesn't think so. he shakes his pater's head a little, trying to wake him. "What happened? Why did- Pater, wake up. Please? You promised you wouldn't-" Salmook snivels and covers his face with his hands.

Ater: He walks up to Salmook, sitting next to him and nudging Salmook's hand with his face.

Tseth: He gives Resh a look, before walking over to Alex and taking Parvus from his pocket. He shows him to Alex. "He got injured when he was kicked. Can you help him?"

Alex: He takes Parvus from Tseth's hand. "I think so. I'll be a moment."

Tseth: "Alright." He moves back towards the others, looking at Salmook. He understood what he was going through. But he couldn't help to comfort him.

Parvus: He opens his eyes and stares up at Alex, chittering.

Juni: She starts picking at the spot where she got pricked with the knife, and she doesn’t seem very shaken by the fact that she had been kidnapped.

Resh: He climbs up the tree next to Juni and pushes her hand away from her neck. “Don’t do that, it won’t heal well.”

Salmook: he gives Ater a small nudge back with his elbow. he's a weird animal - he keeps mashing his face into Salmook. he's not sure how to feel about that. Salmook looks back over his Pater. he pokes Rhiv in the side. "Wake up!" nothing.

Alex: "Hello to you too." He pulls out a crystal from the pouch, putting it in his hand next to Parvus. "Stay still." I'm talking to him like Tseth- maybe I am around him too much.

Ater: He stops trying to divert Salmook's attention, resolving to lay down next to him.

Parvus: He blinks at Alex, then closes his eyes again.

Juni: She huffs at Resh, then hops down from the tree and lays down on the ground. She stares up at the sky and zones out.

Salmook: he watches Alex help out Parvus. at least that's one less someone hurting. "What are we going to do?" he gestures vaguely at his still-unconscious pater. is Rhiv really just going to be carried until he wakes up? but it would make more sense than sitting and waiting, wouldn't it? Salmook raises an arm to his face without thinking, and he wipes at a tear he didn't know was there. he can't stop himself from spiraling down the "what-ifs."

Alex: He summons his light magic, and heals Parvus. Though, the crystal goes dim suddenly at the end instead of fading out to normal. "Looks like it ran out. I guess you can keep this one if you want, Parvus."

(Don't ask me what Tseth's doing idfk)

Parvus: He opens his eyes again, then looks at the crystal. He bats it out of Alex’s hand, then jumps out after it and pounces on it. He looks back up at Alex and squawks at him.

Salmook: he tries to distract himself by watching Parvus and Ater and everyone being so… happy. well, happier than him, at least. he stands and walks back over to his dirt-drawings, poking at a few rocks with a stick. it's going to be fine, right? Salmook would like to think so.

_{(screams in I have no idea how much in-universe time has passed since Rhiv fainted-)}

(I mean I'm thinking like 10-20 minutes max but hell if I know my timekeeping is shit)

Alex: Pft- Parvus was really a funny creature. He walks over to Tseth. "Parvus is fine. And as energetic as ever." Though I'm not sure if Rhiv is "fine"- but I can't do anything for him right now.

Tseth: He seemed to be lost in thought before Alex approached him. He looks relieved at the news. "Oh- good."

Alex: He tilts his head and smiles at Tseth. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you cared more about animals than people."

Tseth: He smiles. "Oh, I do. But you're an exception." He walks to Salmook, sitting next to him. "We- We'll figure it out. Rhiv just needs to rest for a bit."

Parvus: He carries the crystal to Tseth, then trots circles around him. It’s like he’s saying “look what I have!”

Resh: “Aw, the scaly little fuck is showing off.”

Juni: She sighs. “It’s Parvus.”

Resh: He seems to think for a moment, then smirks. “That’s what I said. Scaly little fuck.”

Salmook: he strains a smile for Tseth. "…okay."

Rhiv: what the hell? what the- where are you? WAKE UP. he twitches a little, snorting, and then he sits up. or he tries to, at least. creaky old man. it takes him a second attempt to sit up properly. "Where the-" he's interrupted by Salmook jumping at him and squeezing Rhiv into a hug. "I, uh - wow, you're strong - watch it, Sal - where the hell?" ah, now you've gone and done it- nice work, OLD-TIMER. Rhiv groans, still in mild pain.

Tseth: He looks down at Parvus. "Ah, Alex give that to you?" He looks over at Resh and stands up. "To be fair, one of those words is correct. Parvus means little… among other things-"

Alex: He walks over to Rhiv. "They brought you back to the path. Are you hurt anywhere?"

Parvus: He squawks at Tseth and hops a little, flaring out his wings excitedly.

Resh: “See? Not like he’s mad about it or anything.”

Parvus: He drops the crystal on the ground and looks up at Resh, then climbs up the tree he’s sitting in. He climbs up to Resh’s shoulder and smacks him in the face, scratching him a little.

Resh: “Ow- okay, I think you’ve made your point-“ He grabs Parvus by his middle and pries him off his shoulder, being careful not to hurt the little dragon. He jumps down from the tree and sets Parvus down, nudging him in Tseth’s direction.

Juni: She bursts out laughing when Parvus smacks Resh. “I think he might be a little mad.”
