(anyway time to write Juni getting kidnapped)

Suddenly, a human figure emerges from the shadows, behind Juni. He pulls out a knife and stalks toward Juni, with clear intent to harm her.

Juni: She keeps looking around, completely unaware of the person behind her. Suddenly, she feels the cold, sharp metal of a knife pressed against her throat, and someone puts a hand over her mouth before she can yell for help.

???: He speaks in a hushed tone. “Any sound out of you, and you’re dead. Got it?”

Juni: She stays completely still, other than trembling from head to toe. She slowly nods, and the man takes his hand off her mouth. She stays dead silent.

???: He slowly pulls the knife away from Juni’s throat, before quickly slamming the handle into the side of her head, knocking her unconscious. He grabs her and easily throws her over his shoulder, carrying her away into the forest.

Resh: He looks over towards where Juni was looking earlier, and clenches his fists to stop his hands from shaking. “Well- I’m looking for her regardless of whether anybody’s joining.”

Rhiv: he blinks for a few moments and rubs at his eyes. where… where did Kay go? maybe he was more than a little tired after all. he looks over at Resh and reluctantly nods. "I'll… I'll come with you."

Salmook: he peeks out from behind Alex's wing and sees… nothing? where did the stranger go? weird. he comes out of hiding, looking around. he notices his pater and Resh approaching and smiles again.

Rhiv: "We're going to look for…" he blanks on her name for a moment. he not used to worrying about kids that aren't his own.
"…For Juni. Salmook, you stay here."

Ater: He runs back to the others after Juni gets kidnapped.

Tseth: The stranger just disappeared. What the hell? Whatever. One less thing to worry about, someone's missing. "I'll join as well." I am going to kill someone if it's cultists. Well, that's a given if it is- He unsheathes one of his swords. He never had the time to clean them from the other fight. Whoops.

Alex: He looks around at everyone. "I'll stay with Salmook, then. I'm sure we can handle ourselves." He glances back down at Salmook.

Resh: “…We should get going. If it’s the cultists again, she might…“ He pauses. “…She might die.” I should have kept an eye on her, this is my fault. Without another word, Resh turns and disappears into the forest.

Parvus: He looks up at Tseth and huffs. It was almost as if he was trying to say, ‘Again? Seriously?’

(And then small time skip to when Juni wakes up in cultist camp 2: electric boogaloo)

Juni: She wakes up in a dark cave, bound by her wrists and ankles with rope. Her head is throbbing, and her vision is blurred. She glances around and sees people gathered around a small fire up ahead, talking amongst themselves. She groans and pushes herself to a sitting position.

There are about five or six people there, all looking at Juni when she sits up. One of them, a female, speaks in a taunting voice as she comes to. “Well, look who’s up! How was the trip, little girl?” They all laugh at her comment, and the man who had kidnapped her stands up and walks over to Juni, crouching down in front of her.

???: “Who all else was with you? I know you must have been traveling with a group.”

Juni: She stays completely silent, glaring stubbornly at the man. She’s been held hostage before, this wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle… right?

???: He glares at Juni and slaps her hard across the face, knocking her down again. “Fine, then. Stay silent all you want, they’ll come looking for you.”

(Small time skip? Say less.)

Rhiv: he's getting a bad feeling in his gut. how long have they been searching for Juni? too long in his opinion, and they still don't have a clue who or what they're looking for. or how many. he tenses. he's not too fond of the idea of being held captive himself. too many… bad memories. he'd rather chew his own arm off. he looks over to Resh who seems twice as distressed as Rhiv is. "Anything yet?"

Salmook: he's drawing in the dirt with a stick. he's not an artist, but he's making due. he and Alex have been chatting about… something. Salmook wasn't really paying the most attention. he looks back up at Alex, slightly concerned. "Do… do you think that Pater's ok?"

Ater: He had found Rhiv, Tseth, and Resh. He led them to where Juni was kidnapped, but of course, she wasn't there. Now he was tracking her scent through the forest to help the trio find her.

Tseth: We've been following Ater for a while. I trust that he'll help us find her. If he had followed her into the forest, then he saw what took her. And he can track her scent… yeah.

Alex: He looks at Salmook when he asks the question, thinking for a moment. "I think your Pater can handle himself. And besides, he has Resh and Tseth with him. They'll be okay together, yeah?"

Resh: He glances at Rhiv and shakes his head. “All we can do right now is trust that the cat knows what he’s doing. Kind of a crackhead move, in my opinion, but whatever.”

Parvus: He’s now trotting in front of the group, next to Ater. He chitters occasionally and pounces at random leaves and twigs, but overall isn’t much help.

Rhiv: he's not familiar with whatever a "crackhead" is. figures. it's hard to believe that they're putting so hope onto this fuzzy beast-thing - a cat, apparently. he gives a deep breath and returns to the search. "We'll find her. Keep looking." he's not great at being motivational. it comes across as more of an order, if anything.

Salmook: he scribbles out what he was drawing - a very much lopsided house. he can't shake the feeling that something's wrong. he sighs and strains a smile. "I… I guess so."

Ater: He suddenly looks up, then starts moving faster. He seems sure of where he's going.

Tseth: He speeds up his pace to keep up with Ater. "If you think this is a crackhead move, you should see what other shit goes on in wasteland."

Resh: He also speeds up slightly, and his shallow breaths become audible to the rest of the group. He’s been on the verge of a panic attack for a while now, he’s just good at hiding it.

Parvus: His pupils dilate and he looks up at Tseth, squawking.

Rhiv: oh? did the cat actually find something? he trails along behind Resh who honestly looks - and sounds - like he's about to collapse. Rhiv will be ready if it comes to that. hopefully.

(Alex didn't say anything so Salmo can't really either-)
