Resh: “Hey—“ He quickly steps away from Ater, growling slightly in annoyance.
Parvus: He scampers over to Resh and starts batting at his shoes as well, almost as if it’s a competition to see who can annoy him the most.

Rhiv: he huffs in annoyance. maybe Ater isn't all too bright of a companion. Alex One and Alex Two it is, then. he taps Alex One (the cat) away with the side of his foot. not anything painful, just a general "leave me alone or I'll kick you" nudge.

Salmook: his eyes get wide in confused amazement. "Wow- where me and Pater are from you have to go out the woods and tame your own one. And most of the time it doesn't work… _^Oops…"

Rhiv: he stiffens a little and shoots a warning glance at Salmook.

Ater: He stops attacking Resh when Rhiv nudges him. He stares at him for a moment, before a strong gust of wind hits Rhiv in particular.

Tseth: "You can tame wild creatures, but in our world some species are domesticated. And-" He pauses when he watches Ater. "Ater, no."

Parvus: He stares up at Resh, then climbs up on top of his head, chittering at him.
Resh: “I- no- get off, asshole-“ he grabs Parvus, pinning his wings to his sides, and holds him at arms length. “No.”

(Hold gentle like hamburger)

Rhiv: he rolls his eyes at the antics happening around him. he trudges forwards ahead of Resh, gesturing for Salmook to stay back. if all they're doing is following a path, it can't be that hard to lead, right?

Salmook: he giggles a little at Resh and turns back to Tseth. "Dome-stick-ate-it?"

Tseth: He watches Resh and Parvus, a bit concerned for Parvus's wings. It's probably nothing. He looks back down at Salmook. He's not sure if he doesn't have that word in his world, or if it's just because he's a kid. "Oh- that's not a word for you. Uh… type of animal that's mostly a house pet. Don't usually see them in the wild."

Ater: He moves over to walk by Juni, staring at her curiously.

Parvus: He doesn’t seem to mind the way he’s being held. He stares at Resh with wide eyes and squawks at him.
Resh: “Don’t sit on my head.” He crouches down and sets Parvus on the ground, shooting him away.
Parvus: He huffs at Resh and runs back to Tseth, chittering at him and flaring out his wings.
Juni: She crouches down and holds her hand out to Ater, smiling. “Hi there.”

Salmook: "house pet?" they keep animals in their houses?! well, Salmook is learning a lot today, now isn't he? he glances back at Ater. what would it be like if Ater was in his house? would Ater like that? he's lost in thought for a while, quietly walking along.

Rhiv: he turns around after a while. he's lost sight of the group already? stars above, they walk slow. he slows his pace, still making progress towards… wherever this path leads, but at least the others have a chance to keep up with him.

Tseth: He looks down at Parvus. "Don't look at me, I don't control how nice he is."

Ater: He sniffs Juni's hand, before placing his head in her hand and closing his eyes.

Alex: He walks up next to Tseth. "Rhiv is certainly eager to get somewhere."

Resh: He looks back at the others for a moment, before speeding up slightly, regaining the lead quickly.
Parvus: He squawks at Tseth, then flicks his tail and growls at Resh. He huffs and climbs up to Tseth’s shoulder, still growling.
Juni: She covers her mouth with her free hand, looking extremely happy. She looks up at the group, noticing that they’re still walking, and stands back up to catch up with them.

Rhiv: he looks over at Resh out of the corner of his eye. where were you a few heartbeats ago, huh? they're a far bit ahead of the rest of the group. maybe now's the time to ask? "What's planned for once we get out of this plant-dander dungeon?"

Salmook: he's still lost in thought imagining Parvus and Ater running around his home. he comes to after a few moments and looks around. where… where's his pater? "Where… where did- did Pater leave?" he's not asking anyone in particular, just thinking out loud.

(squints I just realized how similar Ater and Pater are, didn't think of that-)

Ater: He follows after Juni.

Alex: He looks over at Salmook. "He began walking ahead of everyone. I'm sure he's fine."

Parvus: He stretches and flexes his front claws, accidentally pricking Tseth. He chitters and abruptly stands up on his hind legs for a moment, then falls back on all fours and gently headbutts Tseth as an apology.
Resh: He glances at Rhiv. “Well, I wouldn’t exactly call this a dungeon. And I don’t know what we’re going to do once we get out, we know this place just about as well as you do. All I know is we all need to get back home.” Salmook agreed to come home with me, I think… not sure how well that’ll work out now that his father’s here. I can’t separate them, that would be horrible. He starts muttering to himself again.

Rhiv: he sighs, but what was he honestly expecting? he hangs back, allowing Resh to fully take the lead again. another yawn - this one's been building in his throat for a while, so there's no stifling this one. here's to hoping that whatever's outside this forest is even the slightest bit better.

Salmook: he squints, trying to spot his pater. how far ahead is he? Salmook doesnt turn back to Alex as he speaks.
"Does… does your pater do that? Just leave sometimes?"

Tseth: He mutters a small "ow" when Parvus pricks him, and touches the place with his hand. He examines his hand, checking that there's no blood.

Alex: He's a bit taken aback by the question. He hasn't lived in his family's house for a while now. "Uh… he was usually busy on the farm and I'd help sometimes. Sometimes he'd leave, I guess. I don't remember that well."

Parvus: He curls up on Tseth’s shoulder, flicking his tail slightly.
Resh: He chuckles as Rhiv yawns. “Tired already?”
Juni: She glances around and sees a movement in the trees to her side. She looks around at the others, then moves closer to where she saw the movement, narrowing her eyes. Were they being followed?
