(ok we're good I edited it-)
Tseth: He thinks for a moment, before speaking. "We only took out one camp, and it seems the leader was in that one. I didn't see any sign of other camps when I was flying over the forest. But, that doesn't mean anything. There might be ones in hiding, and there might be more camps." But let's hope there isn't. If there's going to be something else happening today, he'd accept almost anything but more cultists.
(evil plotting /j)
Resh: He seems to be ignoring everyone, lost in his own thoughts and running on autopilot.
Parvus: He goes still and starts growling at something, still asleep.
Rhiv: he tilts his head, wary but confused. "Does the scaly rat-thing always make noise like this?" he tenses a little more, pulling Salmook close. "Is… is that supposed to mean something?" he SHOULD be able to understand Parvus - but he can't. it's like listening to someone scream underwater during a storm. Rhiv can't make any sense of it.
(forgot to mention that Rhiv can talk to animals and stuff, but different world different rules so screw him-)
(SCALY RAT-THING)
(heavy southern accent now that’s not very nice-)
Tseth: He raises an eyebrow at Rhiv. "He's just chasing something in his sleep. He's fine." He looks down at Parvus for a moment, watching him.
(laughs in Rhiv deal with it)
(Aw)
(rhiv is just on edge ok- he's busy enough in his world making sure salmonella doesnt get murdered)
Parvus: His growls die down and he nestles a little closer to Tseth, making odd purring noises.
Juni: She looks over at Tseth and Parvus and makes a little “awww” sound, smiling.
(oh my god)
(Also understandable)
(Yw <3)
Rhiv: he seems just as disturbed by Parvus as Salmook is, although for different reasons. why can't he understand the thing? he shakes it off, loosening his grip on Salmook. "Better safe than sorry… you've tamed that thing?"
Salmook: he shrugs in response to his pater. he's not really sure either, and he's been here longer. Rhiv quickens his pace, and Salmook hurries to keep up. maybe some small talk would help? "What do you think we'll find outside of the forest?" he'd like to believe that once they escape the forest, they'll be right at home - but even Salmook knows that's too good to be true. he slumps.
Tseth: He smiles a little at Parvus, before looking up at Rhiv. He shakes his head. "No, just made friends with Parvus. A wild creature doesn't need to be tamed, just understood."
Alex: He looks over to Salmook. "Back home the Forest connected to Prairie and the Snowy mountains… but that doesn't mean much here."
Parvus: He yawns and stretches out his front and hind legs, flexing his claws. He draws his limbs back toward himself and stares up at Tseth, chittering.
Salmook: he tilts his head at Alex's answer. "A… pra- …a prarie? What's that?"
Rhiv: he… might have heard the word before. he's got a vague idea of what a "prarie" is, but he'd prefer not to make a fool out of himself. he keeps himself quiet, eyeing Parvus in wary confusion.
Alex: He stares at Salmook, confused. "It's uh… a sunny place with a lot of grass and flowers. Not very many trees, and mostly flat.
Tseth: He looks at Parvus. "What?"
(might add Cat in the next round of responses)
(saltine and river living at the south pole, blissfully unaware of whatever a "prarie" or a "summer" may be)
Parvus: He blinks a few times at Tseth then playfully bats at him, being careful not to scratch him.
Resh: He doesn’t look back at the group as he speaks. “Huh… that’s weird, our world works the same way. Except the forest connects to the valley, but it’s the same concept.”
(I didn't like the name valley ok RESH)
(LMAO SHUT UP)
(no)
Salmook: he brightens a little, happy to talk about his homeland.
"At home - at my home - the forest goes to… if you go different ways it goes- uh…" he blanks, but he's still in a better mood.
Rhiv: he glances at Salmook nervously. should they really be giving strangers this information? he exhales slowly.
"There's more than one forest at home, but they all just lead to more snow. And angry locals, I suppose."
