Shai: Yup.
Owen: So are we voting exiled, banished-
Tyr: That's the same thing.
Owen: Fine then. Are we voting exiled, killed, an eternity of pain or something else?
Shai: None of those. Yet.

Freya: Grins I- we- there's history there, but yes, I can tell him something.

Shai: Either can he disown my father or exile him? I have proof of-
Owen: You don't need to show her though.
Shai: If it means he'll be gone for good, then yes I do.
Luke: But AJ's still staying?
Shai: Of course! He's not the problem!

Epsilon has returned

Epsilon: jumping up and down excitedly. SHARK!! SHARK!! I love sharks!!! They're my favorite!! Can I touch him?!

Freya: Startled Yes- I suppose so. Give me a moment to get him here. Proceeds to blow long and hard into a conch shell she oulled out of the air. That should call him.

Owen: surfaces, then turns to Epsilon Sure. From tip to tail it's smooth, but the other way is rough.
Owen: to Shai Are you gonna eat your squid or let it run free under my nose?
Shai: by way of response, jumps on the squid and wrestles it against the wall, pulling it into her mouth with her jaws and tearing it apart

(for research for how Shai eats, i had to watch many videos. it's so cool when a moray tries to eat a snake, it's all roll and flip and coil and weave. like those chinese dances with ribbons.)

Epsilon: happily pets Owen and jumps in with him.

(I do that all the time, like I’ll forget little details about them XD)

Shai: to Epsilon Cool hair.
Owen: giggles when Epsilon pets him That tickles, stop, no keep doing it I like it wait-
Luke: to Shai He's doing that weird thing again, right?
Shai: Not weird. Just a side effect of being a Seafarer. His human sense are telling him something, and his shark sense are telling him another thing. Like when something comes around the corner and I have to remind myself not to lunge and try to eat it.

Epsilon: now holding onto Owen's fin. Thanks! Can I be a shark too??
Epsilon: I know that feeling! When I see a baby I have to stop myself from biting off its limbs!

Owen: momentarily shifts back to a human, pulls out a piece of cord with a seashell on it and hands it to Epsilon, then shifts back to a shark Put it around your neck. This one's a reef shark, but you can be a mako if you want.
Shai: I don't bite. I swallow while biting.
Luke: …Which is still biting.
Shai: But not the normal way.
Luke: None of you do things the normal way! You can't even play Jenga properly!
Tyr: Well, Jenga sucks underwater.

Epsilon: happily slips on the necklace thing, turning into the aforementioned reef shark. Woahhh!!

Luke: to Tyr Now I wanna be something. Can I have the crabby one?
Tyr: looks into his backpack, pulls something out, yelps and promptly drops it back in An eight-legged demon bug!
Shai: slithers out of the water, not bothering to shift back, peers in the backpack That's just Fern.
Tyr: Oh, okay. Wait- Oh sorry Fern I never meant to keep you in there! pulls out a Japanese spider crab from his backpack
Tyr: to Luke Fern is already the crab. Uh, meet Fern, I guess?

Freya: Laughs at the Japanese spider crab. Hello, Fern. She then morphs herself into a small Leviathan, and weaves her way into the water.

Epsilon: tries to eat said crab

Freya: What? Stops Epsilon No. What would your mother say?

Epsilon: sad shark face. that crabs are people too….

Freya: Exactly. And I'm pretty sure this crab in particular is actually a person.

Fern: shifts back to her human form Three times in the past two days, someone's tried to eat me. You're bad for my health.
Fern: to Tyr Also, they're called spiders, not eight-legged demon bugs. Or octopus demon bugs.
Tyr: They ARE eight-legged demon bugs though. And now there's eight-legged demon bug crabs!
Fern: indignant noise

Epsilon: eight legged demon bugs taste yummy!!!

Owen: They do. The big ones especially, when you swallow them whole and they squirm down your throat…
Tyr: Can we stop talking about demon bugs?
Fern: SPIDERS. Just like giraffes aren’t umbrella-necked yellow ponies, and tigers aren't poison dart cats.

Epsilon: monching their shark teeth
Nori returning from frying the giant squid. Alright, who wants some?
