(Basically, A large group of characters are thrown into a room and cause trouble.) Scene: The Princess of Magicia, a magical empire, is throwing a ball. Or well, her mother is throwing one to marry her off. Crystal Love Rosethorn sat there on her throne, watching the people. Bored. She loved balls and dancing, but this was just unnecessary. She was adorned in a large green ballgown, her hair embedded with emeralds and other jewles, her red hair spilling down her back as she yawned.
(Hello! I'm kinda interested in this. Should we just drop our characters in?)
(Yup! Just plunge em in. And there is no limit to the number of characters you use, as long as it's easy to differentiate between them! Third person and all that! OH AND: Who ever ends up marrying Crystal shall split off into a private rp with me and ye.) Her sister Lilliana sat there, eyeing the men as she sat there. (Lilli is a THOT)
(This is very interesting! May I?)
Thorne stepped through the doors into the ballroom. Their eyes were immediately drawn towards the princess, sitting on her throne and looking bored. Well, at least they had one thing in common. Thorne ducked around a group of people by the doors and plunged into the crowd, wondering why they were even invited. At least they would get some free food out of it.
Crystal watched as a man ducked between people, and sighed as she got off the throne, being pushed towards the crowd to meet people, socialize with the princes and lords, which she thought were very ugly and had no passions other than getting handsy with the girls and talking about money. And War. Always war. No man could appreciate nature.
Thorne looked back towards the throne, only to see it empty. They quickly scanned the crowd to see the princess talking with a few very stuffy-looking lords. She looked uncomfortable, and Thorne felt a pang of pity. But there was nothing they could do, wasn't there? They took a few steps towards a table laden with food, then turned back and walked back towards the princess. Curse their soft heart.
She rolled her eyes as one roughly grabs her butt, which receives a slap with her hand. "Sir! How DARE you disrespect me!" She says with a huff, and slowly she walks off, melting into the crowd, trying to leave behind her destiny. She tended to prefer the commoners who were kind, and didn't have money stuffed down their gullets. She grabbed herself a tea cake and talked with a good friend of hers, when suddenly her friend is replaced by Thorne at the table, which she didn't take notice. "Oh and Isabella, he had the decency to try to-oh ah why hello there!"
"Hello, princess." Thorne smiled softly, although it didn't exactly reach their black eyes. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Thorne. I couldn't help but notice your… uh, problem. Is there any way I could help you?" They ask, the words spilling out of their mouth, smooth as silk.
"Problem?" She asked curiously as she grabbed another tea cake and 2 flutes of champagne off a waiters tray and hands you one. "What ever do you mean? And please. Call me Crystal." She said with a wink and a grin. (Two characters should dance fight over Crystal, or just fight in general. DRAMMMAAAA)
Raz waltzed around the room, her long black robes trailing around after her. She drew attention to herself but seeing that she had long gray hair down to her waist, despite being young and long black robes, it couldn't be helped. After all, she was the only story breather in the capital, she should seem off.
(Oooh what's a story breather? That sounds hella cool.) Crystal eyed Raz, watching her with curiosity, and decided that she had no problem. But. She did want to speak with Thorne some more, later. She turns to him. "Hold that thought Thorne, I'll be right back dear." And she edges over to the dance floor, watching the young girl with interest. "Who is that?" She wondered out loud.
(Want me to tell you or for you to figure it out?)
Raz looked over at the princesses. You couldn't see her eyes with her hair, you could barely even tell what gender she was. Her black robes draped over her hands. It was obvious too big for her but she didn't mind. She made 'eye contact' with Crystal before smiling and walking off.
(ooooh good question…tell Crystal or let her figure it out. You decide. Make some context though.) Crystal's fox like curiosity got the best of her and she looked back at Thorne, to realize he was gone. She hiked up her skirts and walked off. And if anyone was paying attention, she was not wearing shoes, and for that reason alone made sure all her dresses swept across the ground. A vine with a bow tie followed her, carrying her food tray and champagne.
Raz swiped a glass of red wine as she kept walking. She headed off down one of the hallways and out of the ballroom. She saw Crystal and wanted to know how curious she was. Raz had been to the castle before but she had never seen the princesses. She had never expected her to be so beautiful.
Crystal watched her from afar, looked back at the crowd, and towards Raz. "Oh damn it all, I can see him in the village." She followed her, her jewels glimmering in the lights, adding a softness to her face. She had on rogue, eye shadow and mascara and bright red lipstick, not daring to cover up the dusting of freckles across her nose. "Ah miss, mister, person! Magical being! You really aren't supposed to go this far past the ballroom…" She looked back towards the lights and music, which before she hated now seemed so inviting. She looked back at the mysterious person with the grey hair who sort of frightened Crystal, but also intoxicated her in a way.
Raz turned back to her. "My apologies, your highness." Her voice was deep but melodic. "Are looking quite stunning, may I add?" She said as she walked back to her. She took her hand and kissed. "It's Crystal, is it not?" She asked.
Crystal blushed slightly and nodded. "Indeed it is. And may I inquire of who you are?" She asked as she made her way back to the ballroom, looking back to make sure that Raz was following her.
Thorne watched as the princess- Crystal- walk away, already intrigued with another being. Well, that was fine. Of course. They make their way towards a table filled with drinks and watch the crowd. They're reaching for another glass when they see Crystal and the other one walking back into the ballroom. Of course. Thorne sighs and strides towards them.
Crystal perked up at Thorne. They were one of the better looking people, and the two before her already struck her interest. "Hello again Thorne." She inclined her head, and turned around to Raz. "I would introduce you two but this mysterious stranger still hasn't told me their name."
Raz followed at her heels. "Most people know me as Raz the Story breather." She explained. "Your parents have requested my services before." She informed.
"Hello, Crystal." Thorne smiles. "Hello, Raz." They incline their head at her, shoulder-length auburn hair falling over their face.
(So is Thorne's sex a guy or a girl? So then I can like get mental imaging right.) "Ah, thank you Thorne. I have never seen either of you on my visits into town." She said conversationally as she moved her way into a corner of the room, while other suitors looked for her, hoping to steal her away from the two people before her. But the room was packed, and so finding her was hard.
(They're non-binary, but look more masculine)
"Well, I'm not from around here," Thorne said. "This is my first time here. I don't know why I was invited, but… here I am." They shrugged, running a hand adorned with various rings through their hair.
