Alm looks down at her with a face caught between impressed and unimpressed. Roly meanwhile had bent their head down and began to sniff the grass carefully. Alm strikes up a little chat with Allison.
"Do you have family right now? Or at least friends who you can call family? Cause sometimes friends are a million times better than family."
Roly furiously nods in agreement as they lift their head up revealing a mouth full of grass and dirt.

"I have Vozreal… He used to be a demon… And he's my boyfriend…" She said.
"And I also have Azrael, the angel of Death…"

Vladimir stared at Allison for a moment his eyes squinting in thought, he seemed to make up his mind and spoke matter-of-factly. “Friends, family, all of them steal, cheat, and care only for themselves.” He shrugged, “I learned long ago very person can be bought, friends and family…they only have different prices." He leaned forward his voice a low whisper, "trust no-one.” He turned to Roly. “You still have not answered my question, what are you? I have never seen your kind before.”

"How do I explains eons of history into a few sentences…" She told, then it came to her.

Roly looks over and locks eyes with Vlad intensely. They are frozen where they stand. Completely immobile. Then they start quietly chewing on the grass in their mouth. "Ah thed Imma Thtah!" They swallow their food(?) down and look back at Vlad. "Me and Alm! We're Stars. Lil' lights in the sky with the, the thingy!" They look down with a bent brow and look over at their twin. "Alm! What's it called?"
Alm looks over at Roly. They put a finger to their chin for a split second, then shrug. "I dunno."
Roly snaps their fingers in dejection. "Fiddlesticks! Uncle Brutus says it's important to know!"
Alm shrugs and looks at Allison. "So, you're friends with both? And you're an angel? But also not? Ugh, that's so confusing! Don't make my head hurt!" They clamp their hands over their temples with a pout.

"I'm HALF angel. I have human blood in me as well."

“You don’t have a very good memory, you should really work on that.” He turned his back to the two giants and walked back to where he had left the brush. The tracks of the large buck had vanished he spun angrily to Roly and Alm, “did you happen to eat a large deer?” He growled that was going to be his dinner and now he’d have to go to bed with an empty stomach.

Roly opened their mouth to answer with an angry expression. They they closed their mouth with a confused expression. They look over at Alm.
"Hey! Do we eat deer?"
Alm sighs and answers back.
"I dunno."
Roly groans. "It's always I dunno or I forgot! When did we get this, uh, empty?"
Alm shrugs nonchalantly. "Meh, it's whatever. Sides, animals run when they know we're here. They know we're, uh bad."

He took a deep breath mumbling under his breath, he gave a high pitch whistle, and a black horse came galloping out of the forest. Its eyes rolled in fright as it caught sight of the giants. It seemed to be fighting against an invisible hand dragging it forward. He turned back to the giants and Allison, “Do any of you have food, or are we all going to starve?” Taking out his flint and steel he looked around for any dry wood.

"I have some sandwiches?"

Alm looks down thoughtfully and squints while thinking. Roly leans down and scoops up more dirt and grass. Then they present it to Vlad with a gleeful smile on their face. They look to his horse. "Does your cow want food too?"

“It isn’t a cow.” He spoke slowly and over pronouncing as if he were talking to a child. “But yes, my horse would love the…gift.” He curled his lip as he looked at the grass and mud clutched in Roly’s hand. He nodded in Allison’s direction, his eyes still hard and cold. “I don’t think I ever heard of sandwiches but I hope one can eat it no matter their race.” He began to gather wood and pile it into a small pile, still grumbling over his misfortune.

She got out the sandwiches. They were ham and cheese.

Roly's eyes brightened and they crouched in front of the horse carefully. "C'mere lil cow baby! Eat your supper!" They push the food towards the horse, but it reacts panicked and violently, kicking at Roly's hands and sprinting off in the other direction. "Hey! NO! Come back here! Cow baby!!" Roly gets up and runs at the frightened creature with pure abandon. They chase at the poor creature wildly as it whinnies and neighs sporadically. Alm stands up and starts shouting.
"Stop chasing it! You're scaring it!"
"I'm whaaat!?"
Alm cups their hands around their mouth. "Just stop running!!"
Roly freezes in place with one leg on the ground and one leg in the air with both hands still clutching the soiled grass between their fingers. The horse gallops back to Vlad and settles at his side panting and frightened.

“Shhh.” He gently strokes her nose as it pressed into his shoulder, he spoke softly into her ear, and slowly it's heaving sides slowed, her brown eyes watching Roly. Slowly, she started toward the giant. Her nostrils quivering as she sniffed the air, she gave a low nicker stretching her neck toward the grass in Roly's hand. Vladimir meanwhile sat down and struck the flint and steel together instantly, the fire blazed to life engulfing the wood in bright white flames. He sat back stretching his legs out and enjoying its warmth.

He feels pleasure when hurting others and loves to push people to their limits. A scientist at heart, he's a fast learner and a very good observer.

Roly's eyes stay pinned on the lil horse as she munches carefully at the grass in their hands. Roly's eyes begin to fill with tears and joy as they watch her intently. Meanwhile Alm turns to looks at the new figure in the middle of the field. Alm's eyes widen at him in interest and wonder. Roly quietly pipes up without taking their eyes off the horse. "Who's there?"
Alm smiles wide and beaming. "Another weirdo!!" They prance over to him with excitement and lean down to him with gleeful eyes. "Hiya weirdo! What's your name?"
