Arien nodded to Xander.
"Thank you for explaining it."

Evie's mouth moved, and she looked like she was trying to talk to them. However, no words were coming out. Nice try, sweetie.

"I want to help her she's in pain," Ellie winced

Arien continued to back away. His back hit a tree, and he leaned forward, so as not to catch the tree on fire.

Ellie, if you can hear me, GO! Run away, please! Get away from here. That's not going to work. She can't hear you anymore. Evie's breathing became quick and sharp.

"I want to help her," Ellie yelled

miko staggered out into the light and covers her eyes "h-hey guys what have i missed since i went out?"

"Go!" Evie mouthed frantically.

Arien looked from Evie to the newcomer.
"I think we should leave… now."

"m-me or her" miko asked in confusion

Ellie looked at Miko, "Y-Your back!" Ellie beamed running towards Miko

"Us." Arien ran over to Miko, grabbed her hand, and tried to pull her away.

Evie used a small burst of her power to push Arien away.

Arien fell back.
"Guys…"

Ellie ran ahead "Follow me," Ellie ran at Miko, Arien, and Xander as she ran deeper into the woods.

Evie winced. She hadn't meant to do it that hard. Jocelyn was steadily gaining control.

Arien grabbed Miko's arm.
"I think we should go."

Ellie stopped and looked back at Arien

miko jogs beside Ellie not trying to pull back due to curiosity "where are we going Ellie?"

"Hurry follow me," Ellie yelled

"Let's go!"

"My house it's safe," Ellie told her.

Arien hurried after.

Ellie ran through the forest and brought them to a house in the woods.

Evie closed her eyes and turned around as they ran. She didn't want Jocelyn to see where they were going.
