Chesh shook her head. "I'm just glad I didn't h-have to take…" She said trailing off. "What was that thing anyway?" She asked, trying to change the subject. "Why did she talk about eating people like that?" She asked. "She said Ragnor would taste terrible, it wanted to eat Eve and how I would be the tastiest. Or something like that?" Chesh explained.
Faal: Lifts his head at the newcomer. Instinctively his body tenses, tail uncurling from his side, the spines along it flaring upwards. A barely audible growl seemingly comes from his throat
Eve: Lightly taps Faal while sitting on his shoulder. Her voice is soft
That is Hel, she is also harmless Faal
Faal: gaze shifts to Eve, then back to Hel. Seemingly makes a huff under his breath, muttering something in his own tongue before replying to Eve again
Hm…I see…
His eyes shift to the broken metal gauntlet, picking it up, looking it over. He doesn't look up as he listens, then finally speaking as well for those around to hear
This…creature, from what I could sense, as it had disappeared by the time I came to Eve's call, something of the void…but also seemed to have a very faint scent of an abomination…
A frown appears on his face
If that is the case I am thinking…not good…not good at all…
Eve: Had floated off of Faal's shoulder. Settles herself on her master's demonic limb, lightly running her small fingers down it. Gives a sad chirrup, rubbing at her eyes again
Faal: Looks towards Eve
He'll be alright little one
The one's magic was accepted, so the healing is done…though sadly, you already know we cannot do anything about his arm except make sure he takes his medicine
(Hel inhaled deeply, listening to Chesh and Faal. Her eyes were closed tightly and her mouth was closed in a line. When she breathed out, she exhaled what could be described as purple and black stardust, shimmering with her breath. Her eyes opened and they were tinged with a malicious lavender light in her scelara. She evened her breathing and turned to Faal.) Even though our meanings of the words are different, you are not wrong in your accusations. (She sits up straighter and holds Chesh tighter.) Hex is a thief. She stole the voids magic. Our void is a sentient orb of nothingness, giving us magic and life. We have mothers and father, but the void gave us the ability in our veins to wield all types witchcraft. Only those born with crooked veins may wield the voids personal essence. (She looks at her wrist.) I’m the first in all of Necrotzen history to do so. (She puts it down.) But I am far from the last. Hex… became a monster when she took the void within herself. She physically ripped herself out and gave it away so she could just hold it. I always thought, “She wasn’t always like this. She loved playing games, and telling secrets, and running around, and - (She stopped. She had a bitter grimace on her face.) But she was like this. I just didn’t know. And in a way, neither did she. She didn’t know that she loves hearing screams and seeing tears more than her own mother. She didn’t know she revels in the taste of children’s flesh and crunching bones between her teeth. (Her eyes were dead and her frown was deep.) She didn’t know she would sooner devour her sister than hug her after decades… (Philip slowly wrapped his arms around her waist. He hugged Chesh in too. He put his cheek against her back and hummed softly.)
Chesh looked at Philip and then at Hel. Were they…together? If so they were adorable. She chuckled. She hadn't felt this at home since Marco found her in a abandoned ware house. "Are you to together?" Chesh asked.
(Hel smiled fondly. Finally, something happy to talk about.) Hel: Yeah, I told you. He's my lemon. (Philip mumbles from behind her.) Philip: And she's my grape. (Hel's smile widened, even with the tiredness in her eyes. She looks older than usual.) Our cherry's at the convent. He's out third partner. We love him just as much.
Faal: Listens to those around
Hm…I see
Eve: Looks up towards Faal, her eyes continue to shine softly, the fur wet around her eyes where tears had fallen earlier
You're really sounding like that one guy Faal, repeating 'I see' a lot
Faal: Jerks his head over, looking to Eve. The male seems to try and find words
W-well…I-I never have this much i-i-interaction with other people and creatures
Gives a huff
I-I much prefer the quiet of my forest home
Eve: Actually giggles softly, tail twitching
Sure Faal
Chesh finally got off of Hel. "You two are adorable." She mumbled. She began to float again. She liked floating a lot because it gave her a sense of security. She floated over to Faal. "I don't think we have been properly introduced. I'm Chesh." She said sticking out her hand.
(Hel looks at Faal.) Hel: You know, we haven't properly introduced ourselves. I'm Hel. I'm a witch. And I really like food. Fascinating, I know. (She puts her hand out from where she's sitting, still holding Chesh and not moving away from Philip.) What's your deal?
(*Letting go of Chesh; My apologies)
Faal: Having lived a mostly solitary life, he can't help but feel a bit suspicious of these new people and creatures, despite the reassurance of Eve's word. Watches the others carefully, eyes glowing, pupils remaining narrowed into thin slits. The spines along his tail remain erect, alert. His forked tongue flicks out again, testing the air. Gingerly takes the offered hand from the girl who called herself 'Chesh'
No, as my sudden appearance was rather sudden as well as not in the best conditions so to speak
Releases the hand, standing up again. His tail slowly sways back and forth
As for my own name, to make proper introductions; I am Faalfeykrojun, though to make it easier on other people, my name has been shortened to simply Faal
Species/breed wise, I'm an earth dragon
rubs the back of his head, his posture clearly screaming he definitely isn't used to social interactions
Chesh blinked a few times at the man impressively long name. "Well it's nice to meet you Faal." She said backing up from Faal. She could tell that he wasn't used to human interaction. Heck! She was barely used to human interaction.
(Hel lept up from Philips arms and the thoughts of previous events vanished. She looked positively excited.) Hel: YOU'RE FALLFEKROGUNK?! (She horribly butchered his name.) Ragnor told me about you! That's what the horns and tail are about oh my gosh, this is awesome! (She inspected his spines.) Those look so cool! Our dragon peeps don't have them at home! (Philip had stood up as well.) Philip: It would be much harder to hug our cherry if he had spines. (Hel thought for a moment.) Hel: I mean I guess, but this dude has a wicked cool tail!
Faal: Gives a nod to Chesh, then seemingly jumps slightly at the sudden burst of excitement from Hel. His tail seems to sway back and forth faster
R-Ragnor! Oh, yes. As I mentioned before, we are old friends from ages ago
His eyes fall upon the female, watching her every move. Though his form relaxes, if only slightly, sensing no immediate danger from those around him
You have dragons as well then?
As for this, most of my kind do have human forms like the one I am using before you
Tilts his horned head to the side
Many of the dragons back home are able to take these human or even humanoid forms in order to blend in better with humans as we aren't too popular among mankind.
Besides, being in my true form, I would end up crushing everything and everyone here
Chesh looked confused. "Dragons in my world can't shift like that." She said. "And if half blooded dragons could then Val has some explaining to do." She said tapping her foot.
Hel: We don't have dragon dragons, where I'm from. We got Draconians, which is like if you took a dragon and shrunk them to human size and they walk upright and they don't have a snout. They've got dragon features and chiz, but they're not actual dragons. (She grabs Philips shoulder and shakes him a bit.) Me and lems here are dating one! He gives awesome hugs! And is a real cutie! (She beamed evermore, talking about her lovers.)
Faal: Head remains tilted in a curious fashion. Hearing other dragons, or even dragon-like creatures, the male was rather intrigued
They cannot shift? Well, I suppose different gods and goddesses have their own ways of creation
Dragons that have mated with humans give birth to what have become known as Dragonkin in our world. Dragonkin are a lot like myself right now in appearance, though they keep their horns, tails, and occasionally wings, but are for the most part human in appearance
Raises a hand, seemingly rubbing his chin in a quizzical fashion
These 'draconians' you speak of…sound a lot like the Dragonians in my world. Though the only thing 'human' like about them is that they are bipedal and live in cities, preferring their Capitol City of Nabol
Once again the male seems curious
'Dating'? That must be some human term, as I've only heard it said by Ragnor…as he is the only human I know and have spoken to…anyways, a form of courtship if I am correct yes?
(Hel paused. Did this dude just say that humans and dragons mate??) Hel: Uhhhh, we are NOT gonna skim over that! How in the frick is that possible?! Isn't a dragon like huge and a human is tiny? How does that work? And what if a dude wanted to do a dragon lady? That would be impossible! He'd be too small to- (Philip pinched the back of Hel's neck and she screeched like a dinosaur.) Hel: Dude!? What the heck!? (Philip looked beyond flustered and he looked like he was about to burst from embarrassment.) Philip: Did you forget? That we are (through gritted teeth and very low) - in a physical relationship with a dragon like creature??? And you at one point were- (he said something too muffled and low to hear, but Hel immediately knew what he was talking about. Hel doesn't get embarrassed, but she recognizes when a topic is too awkward to bring up. She turns to Faal.) Hel: Yeah, forget everything I said. To answer your question, dating is when you spend a lot of time with a person you really like until you wanna get married or move in together or whatever and maybe have babies but that's up to you. So yeah, it's courtship. (Philip made a choking sound at the mention of babies and looked like he was going to faint.)
Faal: Seemingly starts to chuckle softly
Of course it is possible. As you see now and I have said earlier, most dragons have human forms
It may seem a bit odd yes, but fate works in mysterious ways
The swaying of his tail seems to slow down, the spines flattening, showing the male's more relaxed state now
Interesting…quite different, but not so different
Gives a slight shrug
But then I haven't really had any interest in finding a mate
(Hel cocks an eyebrow up.) Hel: Ohhhhhh, human forms eh? That makes MUCH more sense. (She put her hand on her hips and was content with this information. Philip sighed with relief. Good. No more awkward topics.) Does that mean your humans could lay eggs when they get with a dragon? (Philip actually fell this time. He didn't faint, but that question eviscerated his will to stand.)
Faal: Rubs the back of his head
Well…that I'm unsure of
I don't think exactly that is how it works, if a male dragon mates with a human female. Think birth would be live as with most humans…least from what I have heard
Eve: Suddenly flits upwards, floating near Faal's head
You are correct, a woman would give birth as a normal human would
Though for a dragon, if a human male mates with a dragonelle, that is a different case
Her eyes flit over to Ragnor, who is still passed out, and has started to snore rather loudly
As Ragnor's Fiancée was a Dragonkin, part human and part dragon
Faal: seemingly grimaces
Ah yes…the lovely Lunyo…a shame she was taken at such a young age…
She would've most likely given live birth, as it seems how most Dragonkin reproduce
Chesh stared down at Philip. "You okay?" She asked.
(Philip put a hand to his head.) Philip: Wake me up when Hel isn't barking the most absurd nonsense to be birthed. (Hel laughed loudly at that.) Hel: Then you'd be asleep forever, man! (She knelt down and came close to Philips face. They looked at each other for a very brief moment. Then Hel lightly sniffed his nose and frowned.) Hel: You gottta go back to the convent. (Philip sat up.) What, why? (Hel already had opened a portal in the air with a snap of her fingers.) You're right, you got cursed. Now go and get treated. You can hang with us when you're better. (She offered a small, but toothy smile. Philip showed hesitation, but knew curses were no laughing matter. He stood up and faced everyone.) Philip: It was awfully nice meeting you all and hopefully I'll return soon. (He looks at Chesh.) Don't get in too much trouble, you hear? (He sounded like a doting old man. He looks to Faal and Eve.) Even if it was brief, I enjoyed your company immensely. I hope Ragnor recovers quick.
Chesh rolled her eyes. "Getting me to stay out is harder than you think! I am a trouble magnet!" She laughed. "See ya later, Lemon!" She taunted.
(Philip has a brief, but powerful heart attack and sputters out nonsense. Hel is laughing her head off at his reaction. She embraces him with a familiarity and skill that eases him back into reality quickly. He smiles warmly and looks at Hel.) Philip: I'll see you soon? (Hel grinned back.) Hel: Of course, dear. (They shared another hug and a quick peck on the cheek and nose.) Send my love to cherry, got it? (He ruffles the top of her head teasingly.) Philip: I will. (He steps through the portal, offering a final wave to his sweetheart, and vanishes.)
Faal: Watches the entire thing, clearly intrigued
Eve: Eyes shift from Faal, over to the others, then back to Faal again. A small smile appears on her face, shaking her head
You really do live a sheltered life, you know that
Faal: Quickly looks to Eve
W-w-what makes you say that?!
Eve: Chirps, tail swaying
The way you're acting and observing. You normally just appear, and once everything's good, you leave
Faal: Rolls his eyes
Well, I-I have time right now. No one and nothing is currently causing a problem on or for my territory, things are calm
Eyes shift to the passed out Ragnor. His eyes narrow
Besides, need to make sure the old boy wakes up in at least a decent shape…enough so that he can stagger back home
Also going to have to get his gauntlet fixed or a new one
Eve: Gazes towards the broken metal in Faal's hands
Yea…he won't be too happy that he's not going to have that
