Chesh laughed. "What's with the big words?" She asked. "Anyways, I haven't had too many side effects. Other than some occasional panic attacks and flares of magic, I'm pretty good." She said. "I'm not sure if the panic attacks are like PSTD or they are side effect from the panic room."
(Philip put his hand on his chin as he looks at Chesh longer.) Does a… voice, speak to you when you use these powers? Not an actual voice, but thoughts that aren't yours, if you will. Thoughts that- (He searched the ceiling for an explanation.) -ask you questions or judge your motives.
Chesh shook her head. "No. Why?" She asked. "'Cause if your looking for answers like that Nykidia or Night would be better to talk about that." She said nonchalantly.
Hm… Alright then. (He adjusts his glasses slightly.) A being exists in our world known for creating us and gifting us with absolute control over magic. It is one of complete nothingness, an endless abyss of raw, unbridled magic with the ability to think and give and hopefully nothing else. I was wondering if those experimenters had somehow acquired its magic and forced it on you. Apparently not. (He relaxes just a bit and sits less tense.) Despite the fact that all Necrotzen wield magic effortlessly, very few have the ability to wield the voids raw power. Improper use of it leads to horrific punishments enforced by the void itself. Hel is one of those few users, but she actually, well, made "friends" with it. I have no idea how, but at least she won't get punished for her tomfoolery. (He looks to Chesh.) Do you use your power responsibly, or like a daft fool? (It appears he didn't notice how harsh his choice of words were.)
Chesh laughed at this. "Depends on how you would describe 'daft fool'." She said. "I don't use my powers for good if that's what you mean. I use them only to protect." She said, looking away from Philip. She seemed mad.
(He gives her a somewhat confused look.) Using it to protect is good. It means you care about other people and trust them. (He looked down and thought for a moment.) Unless you meant protect yourself. In which case, yes, that is incredibly selfish if you have friends and family you could protect instead. (This time, he did catch how cruel his wording was and made an attempt to reconstruct it.) That came out wrong. Not… "selfish"… per se… maybe "cautious". (He needed a moment to think again.)
Chesh chuckled, still not looking at Philip. "I only use it to protect others. I don't matter. What's the point of using them to protect something so worthless? It would be selfish to use them that way." She said, her voice devoid of emotion.
(Philip looked at her in absolute shock. What happened? What did he do?? Did he break her??? How? Wait, no he didn't… something else is going on.) Chesh? Chesh. Look at me child. What's wrong? (His face showed extreme concern for her and he had his hands hovering over her shoulders, not wanting to make a wrong move.) Did I say something wrong? What's the matter?
"Hmm~?" She said as she turned to Philip. "No. I'm fine. Don't worry." She said with, surprisingly, a genuine smile on her face.
//A young boy walks into the room. He was tall, fairly intimidating, and his clothes were a bit unnatural. Something flickered through his hazel eyes as he glanced at the people and non-people in the room. The girl behind him was wearing some sort of suit, an eye patch covering one eye.//
Kalmir: Why am I here? Why was I summoned here?
//The girl behind him leaned over and whispered something into his ear//
Kalmir: Thank you. he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small paper So that's what this date and address meant.
Ragnor: Comes from another door, Eve on his shoulder
Huh, new people here?
Eve: Ears perk forward, tail curled around her side while sitting on her master's shoulder
So it would seem
Ameria: Hello!
Mizu: Hi.
Ameria: Don't mind her.
WHAT THE F&CK. (Philip horribly fails to avoid a curse dropping out and almost falls off where he was sitting. He was just about to help Chesh with her… issues, and an absolute crap ton of people materialized out of nowhere.)
Ragnor: Grins
Something the matter Sunny?
Ever: Lays her ears back, voice sarcastic
Great nickname…
Chesh started to laugh her ass off as Philip began to freak out. "O my gosh! I…can't……..breath!" Chesh wheezed.
Kalmir: he eyed everyone in the room, then stated bluntly I don't want to be stuck in this room with a bunch of-
Marisol: she kept her voice low Kalmir, we were put here for a reason.
Kalmir: And why do you get to decide if we stay or go?
Marisol: Because not only do I have more than half a brain, I've got a sufficient amount of common sense that is telling me that it would not be a very good idea to anger the people here. You've forgotten all of your equipment, how do you expect to save yourself?
Ragnor: Looks over to the newest additions. Reaches into his pocket, pulling out one of the usual cigarettes with a lighter. Lights the end, sticking it in his mouth
Eve: Shoots a glare over
Go ahead, finish that sentence
'Bunch of' what?
Ragnor: Glances to his familiar who is now standing on his shoulder
Calm yourself Eve, they haven't proven to be a threat
Eve: Gives a huff of annoyance
No excuse to open one's mouth
Best to keep it shut if you think it's going to offend others
HeeeEEEEEYY (His voice became very high all of a sudden. He points a finger at Ragnor and Eve.) Don't you DARE think you're allowed to throw names at me! That is ONLY for people that I- (He cuts himself off and his fur begins to stick out like a cat.) I-I-I-…I'M CLOSE TO!!! (He turns to Chesh on the floor.) AND YOU!! YOU JUST HAD SOME…. STRANGE… THING HAPPEN TO YOU. YOU ARE NOT OFF THE HOOK. (He then turns to the tall man and the girl.) AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TWO!? (His professionalism has been assassinated and now there's only a panicked and screaming nerd in the middle of the room.)
Kalmir: A bunch of hooligans. he turned to Marisol Let's just leave now, I cannot think nor hear properly in this place.
Marisol: You're outside of your comfort zone. I have to say, this is quite unusual to see you in a state like this.
Kalmir: Oh? Is it? Maybe that's because I was pulled out of the army just to be handed this little sheet of useless paper, and now I've got you following me around.
Marisol: I am at the top of the ladder, my lord. It is only just that I travel with you.
Kalmir: You've yet to top me, Marisol.
Marisol: she looked around I apologize, my lord tends to act like a child when he is insecure-
Kalmir: Don't speak. Don't say anything else, Marisol. he was already burning red
Chesh calmed down from laughing only to start up again when he started screaming. As she wiped a tear from laughing from her eye she flicked a hand and Philip started to float in to the air. "Take a chill pill, kid." She said chuckling. Her eyes were flaring a deep purple.

(Oh no my reply was posted once more. Please ignore that copy!)
Eve: Seems to be bristling
Ragnor…hold my tail…or better yet, keep me from calling a friend
Ragnor: Grins
Eve, don't even think about calling Faal.
Cause if I can't call him, you can't
Looks to Philip, still grinning
Aw, so cute
Eve: Growling, tail lashing
Didn't plan on Faal, was thinking more of another old friend
Ragnor: Grin disappears, eyes narrowing
Definitely not Eve….
Eve: Smirks
It would be amusing though…
Ragnor: Removes the white stick from his mouth, wisps of smoke leaving his lips
And it would be a pain in the ass to deal with, something I am currently not wanting to deal with right now
Kalmir: he pointed to Ragnor
He just voiced out how I feel about this entire ordeal.
Marsiol: I'm not letting you leave. You were brought here for a reason and you are staying.
Um, sir? Learn to talk respectfully to your allies, hm? (Philip already didn't like this guy. Impatient, rude, aloof. In a way, he reminds him of himself. He already got over his initial panic and is now trying to introduce himself to the new faces. He clears his throat as politely as he can muster and extends his hand to the duo.) I am Philip. Witch. Alchemist. Necrotzen. It is a pleasure to meet you both.
