Grace: Grins and loops an arm around On'nyosh. Close your eyes. Don't want to get blinded. When On'nyosh does so, a piercingly bright light spears from the heavens and hits them. Their forms disappear, and when the debris and light clears, there's a celtic knot on the ground where they were just standing.
AJ: …Well, that was weird. yells after Grace I was going to tell you
Grace shouts back from wherever she is: "I don't believe that, but okay!"
Since Grace left, I need to put someone else here, lol. So another girl has joined the chat.
The girl: Grins broadly Well hello, people!
Leo: to AJ I wanna know! Can I know? Can I see? he points to the bulge in AJ's pocket
Kek: I'm pretty sure you showed it when we met Fathom. Let me guess. It broke again.
Leo: What broke?!
Shai: to wherever Grace is No, it's true. He likes showing off his thingas, even when they're broken.
AJ: to Kek Yep. he pulls a piece of sea glass the size of a football out of his pocket Owen broke it this time. Not my fault.
Shai: to the girl Who're you?
The girl: Shrugs I'm Titan. And you are. . .?
(Well, I thought there would be a moment with Gecko-On’nyosh, but apparently not right now, lol. And now I have no idea who to put in here next)
Shai: I'm Shai. That is a genius idiot gestures to AJ
AJ: Genius idiot? Idiot genius. fiddles with the piece of sea glass and watches as a pool of dark blue inky tendrils spread through the glass, like watercolours when you paint wet-on-wet
Shai: Same difference.
AJ: Aha. Yup. slips it back in his pocket and sticks out a hand to Titan I'm the aforementioned genius idiot and idiot genius. I'm AJ.
(You know what, nevermind. I found somebody)
A well-dressed halfling enters the chat. He has the air of a businessman.
Halfling: Greetings all. Anyone in the mood for some hand-made jewelry? I sell it all day.
Titan: Carefully takes A.J.'s hand to avoid crushing it. Even so, she nearly breaks overy bone in the poor Seafarers hand. Nice to meet you. Turns to the Halfling, releasing A.J.'s hand. I doubt you could make anything strong enough for me, bud.
Halfling: Chuckles, giving Titan a polite smile. I might surprise you. My name’s Jack, but most call me Lucky Jack. Any sort of jewelry you have in mind? Earrings? Bracelets? Necklaces? Something else?
AJ: winces and pulls out a vial of water, splashing it on his hand You have a very strong grip. pulls out the sea glass again and continues tinkering like nothing happened
Titan: Looks at the Halfling. If you could make me a titanium, mithril, cold iron and adamantium belt, that would be nice.
Lucky Jack: Nods. I will return shortly with your request, madam. Smiles, then snaps his fingers. A ring on his hand flashes and a portal appears. Jack steps through.
Titan: Nods, then calls out MAKE SURE IT'S THIN ENOUGH TO GARROTE SOMEONE WITH!
(It's important to not that Titan is 4'9, skinnier than a bean pole and is 14. She can hit you with the force of Earth's gravity, though, so it's important to remember not to startle her. Which is very easy to do.)
AJ: Garroting? Drowning them's way better. They die within three minutes, the sharks will eat the evidence and the bones will help coral reefs grow. What's not to like?
Titan: Shrugs When you have enough strength to literally launch someone to the moon with one punch, sublety isn't exactly your top priority. Plus, the thrashing around makes a lot of noise, and would alert everyone nearby.
( going on break for a bit but the twins will be back soon enough)
AJ: It takes ten seconds to grab them and drag them more than 50 feet under. Noise isn't a problem there.
Lucky Jack: The portal appears a few minutes later, and he comes out. In one hand is a thin belt. As requested, a belt made of titanium, mithril, cold iron and adamantium, and thin enough to use as a garrote. Now, for the price.
Titan: Looks at A.J. with some amusement The seconds before are what I'm talking about. Turns to Jack What do you want?
Jack: What are you willing to pay?
Titan: Thinks for a moment, tallying up the individual prices of each material carefully. Adamantium usually goes for 20 gold on the market. Titanium is relatively common, so 5 silver pieces should suffice. Mithril is rarer than the first two and light to boot, so 30 gold. Cold iron is easy to find, but the difficulty of finding the right kind of piece is difficult, and due to the fact that you can't forge it, I'd say about 12 silver pieces. As she's saying this, she's pulling out a heavy coinpurse and counting out the required coins. Is that enough?
Jack: Is a bit surprised. 51 gold and 7 silver. Clearly you’re from a place where these minerals are quite common. Where I’m from, Mithral is the easiest to find, but is still rare, and it would be 50 gold minimum. Cold Iron would be 100 gold, for the same reasons as you said. Titanium is quite rare, at 250 gold. And Adamantium is the rarest of the four, coming at 300 gold minimum. The cheapest price would total at 700 gold, though my materials are not the cheap scrap. I’d say this belt is worth, at least, double the minimum price, which would be 1,400 gold.
