( @knightinadream I did reply on the previous page, maybe that will spark some ideas)
August managed to catch up to Caesar and Conner. “Umm, hello. This might sound crazy, but did any of you suddenly find yourselves here without your memory? Also, where is everyone going? I… oh. My name’s August. What’s yours?”
She was fidgeting where she stood. The nagging feeling that there was something important she was forgetting wouldn’t leave her alone. There was also a fear of being discovered. She had to stay focused and guarded.
For a moment, Caesar's mind started to wander off. His attention was hazy as his eyes just glazed over. Nothing seemed to bother the kid at all; or nothing right now seemed to scary to him. As long as he kept with the group and didn't look around, everything will be fine. He was out of it to the point where his ears didn't perk up to the sound of footsteps.
Caesar stopped then turned to the girl next to him. His eyes squinted trying to see her before offering a small smile. "Everyone else just showed up with the same thoughts, we're just following Dewey right now since no one really knows this place.", he nodded,"Oh, I'm Caesar by the way, nice to meet you; and don't worry, there's no need to be scared."
“Nice to meet you too! It’s just… I am a little scared, I guess. I remember my name, age, and everything, but I don’t remember…” August paused, a fuzzy image of a bloodied, wet face appearing in her mind. “… who I was… what happened to me. Anyway,” she turned to Caesar. “Who’s Dewey?”
Conner glanced at the girl who was talking to Caesar. "Oh, that dude over there," he said, pointing to the masked man by the entrance to the caves. "He seems to live here or something. I'm Conner, by the way. It's nice to meet ya." He smiled warmly, hoping to comfort her.
Dewey turned around, walking backwards. “Yea,” he said, “I’m Dewey, the ‘tour guide’ for this place.” He folded his arms. “I don’t really live here though, not anymore at least. Just come here. For memories sake.” He glances to the caves, walking closer to them at the second. “If you’ve got any questions, feel free to ask.” Though he’d prefer not to repeat the whole thing he said before, he’d do it if required.
August returned Conner’s smile. Then she turned and studied Dewey for a moment, her eyebrows forming a knot on her face. She sighed.
“To be honest, I just feel I need to remember something important. But, are we… safe here? There aren’t any serpents or burrow wyrms in there, right?” She caught herself. Why did she ask that? These people probably haven’t even seen one of those. But how could she say she had seen one then? Did she encounter one in the past?
Never mind that. Focus on the now, she thought.
(fyi, August is 23, so you might not want to call her a girl)
"Ehh.." Dewey paused, in though. Although her words on the serpents and wyrms were a little out of the ordinary, which definitely struck him off guard - He wasn't weirded out or anything like that.
"Yes," he answered after a few moments in thought. "Aside from the typical hazards - falling, tripping, etc, we should be safe. And no giant creatures in those caves, as far as I'm aware. Unless you…" He stopped himself, drifting off. Maybe it would be better to word what he was about to say a little bit more differently.
"Yes, you should be fine!" He exclaimed.

Caesar just kept his gaze on Dewey while listening. The place didn't really seem to be that ominous or scary to him anymore. On the other hand, the way Dewey's voice trailed off caught his attention. Biting his lip, he stopped walking to take another look around. He wasn't sure what Dewey was trying to get, but he decided to shake it off. "Well, I don't want to break my arm again so…", Caesar mumbled while taking a little flashlight out.
"How did you stumbled upon this wonderful place?", he asked August. Caesar started to walk again but only took small steps.
(thanks for the fyi, my apologies)
(No problem)

((Main post;
Feel free to jump right in. ))
(Shoot sorry)
August didn’t say anything as Dewey talked. She wanted to believe in the best in people, but the mantra of ’be focused, stay on guard’ rang in her ears.
She said to Caesar, “I… remember something. Being hurt. I think I passed out. When I woke up, I was here. What about you?”
