(Guess I'm fucked)
(Embrace the flirty fight boy, embrace him.)
Walking back from the top of the deck on his kingdom’s ship, Tanner’s attention was taken by the crew member that has been ‘invited to a dance’. “This won’t end well for him now, would it?” he said while pulling out his chain blade, only to watch and not yet to interfere with the crew member’s fate.
(No it wont, Ryder is a demon with years of practice. Not my most powerfull character, but one of my smartest.)
Amidst the chaos caused by the demon, piles of corpses laid on the ship's deck. The waters around it ran red with the blood of the murdered. Yet despite all of this, another, and possibly the last, volley of cannonballs shot at the ship, threatening to sink it for good. "Reload the cannons, damn you! Their ship is so peppered with holes it might as well not be a ship! Fire at those demons in the name of the Admiralty!" With this, the ship started rattling, a magical maelstrom building up under it, and spelling doom for the crew.
Hoxton met Ryder's blade with his own dual-wielded cutlasses, attempting constant blows to the demon's stomach while parrying most blows from the staff.
Ryder hummed a lively tune as he leaped out of the way, his shirt riding up a bit to reveal that his stomach was cover in obsidian scales. "You really have to try harder, I am truly sorry for my little sister. She does tend to get a bit carried away with her bloodlust."
Aza frowned back on the ship's deck. Relinquishing the tornado, she sat, bored, on the deck of the ship and waited for Ryder to get back.
Some of the remaining crew members began fighting the demon, trying to split his attention so he would eventually make a mistake. Deckhands crouched behind crates and railings, watching the fight cautiously, and some even dived off the ship in hopes that they could escape. Hoxton disengaged. He dashed towards the front of the ship and made sure the demon wasn't chasing after him before grabbing one of the front deck cannons and putting all his power into twisting it around towards the demon. 4 deckhands come to the aid of their captain, shifting the cannon towards the creature. Hoxton loads the cannon as quickly as possible and fires it straight at Ryder.
Cress frowned at Ryder as he fought the captain of the boat. He went down to bandage his bleeding shoulder
Ryder pursed his lips, throwing his hand up as a large wall of demonic magic rose up, solidifying quickly. The cannonball bounced right off of the large wall. "Yo River." He yelled. "Can you come here, I'm getting bored and I just want to fight their little captain."
Tanner leaped from his ship, revealing a pair of wings — consisting of a fully healed black angel wing and a broken white angel wing. Flying down towards Ryder. The chain blade he held was thrown, aiming directly at Ryder’s heart. Whilst mid-air, the chain blade stretched, giving Ryder a rather ‘expected’ surprise attack.
Oof… But.. Ryder.. Ryder allready deflected the cannon shot.//
I just changed it, lol, my bad//
Cress came back up, still wrapping his arm and rolled his eyes, “Jesus Christ…” he muttered watching the battle, “I better go settle this.” He took his scythe back out and transformed it into a hover board and flew to the other boat. He got off and put his scythe away. “Hello.” He said cautiously, holding his hands slightly up to show he meant no harm, “Can we talk about this?”
Ryder just let out a long sigh. "Rude, did I not just say that I only wanted to fight the captain?" The Demon growled, hands flashing as a small disc blocked the attack. He turned his head towards Cress. "But Cress, I'm just starting to have fuun."
Tanner would get distracted by Cress, rolling his eyes and interest to the hole visible on his left shoulder. He desummoned his chain blade and his wings faded. “Is that…from my attack…?” He asked with a concerned and somewhat of a scared voice.
“No. Stand down. Now.” Cress said sternly, glaring at Ryder, “If we have any more death on our shoulders, then the army will come again and take us back.”
Cress turned to Tanner, “Yeah it is. Thanks a lot.”
Ryder groaned, but clipped his staff to his belt. "Did I not say before that I would leave you to them as I took my siblings or did River say that."
“Oh…eh, my apologies” he changed his tone of voice to a more polite tone, showing that he is sincere with his words. “I’ll partly promise to never do that again.” He said to Cress.
Cress glared at Ryder before looking at Tanner, “It’s fine, trust me. A lot worse has happened.”
“Well, I’ll be heading back to my ship now.” Tanner said while smiling behind his mask. Looking at Ryder and Cress, he said, “I’ll be back once danger comes or once someone calls for me”. Tanner’s wings would appear, not even saying a proper goodbye, Tanner took off and flew back to his ship.
Wait, who's on who's ship?//
The cannonball reflected by the demon bounced off towards the front of the ship, hitting the bottom of one of the masts and crumbling it. It quickly arced down and smashed onto the deck of the ship, uprooting the planks under it and rocking the boat to one side. "Demons! You shall answer to the Lord Admiral for this!" He said, still gripping his cutlasses with a vengeful fist.
"That's it." Ryder growled. "I'm killing this pesky motherfucker." He exclaimed, materializing his large claws.
Wait, who's on who's ship?//
(I’m sorry I didn’t make this clear. Tanner has his own…well his kingdom’s ship. But as you can see, he goes all over the place, so right now he’s heading back to his kingdom’s ship.)
