Sure thing.//
"… Where the fuck is that?" Myra asked, the siblings were from a small kingdom.
"You kids never heard of America?" Jay laughed, "Makes sense I guess, it's not in the same dimension as this. That's why we gotta go there! They won't suspect a thing…"
By now, River had walked over to them. "Don't call us kids, we're all over a thousand years old." They signed to him, Ryder rolling his eyes again.
“Still…You look like kids!” Cress laughed, “Maybe look older and I’ll stop calling you kids…”
(So how does this work, is your ship like, sailing along mine, oooor..?)
(sorry i'm late got room? If not, can i stalk?)
(Maybe the ships can pass each other?)
Hoxton suddenly raised himself from his lean, putting down the book and grabbing a spyglass. He looked out towards the horizon, spotting the foreign flag of a foreign vessel. He kept a close eye on it, but withheld himself from taking impulsive action.
Cress noticed a larger ship in the distance and froze, unsure what to do.
"Ryder." River signed stiffly. "Get your staff and some combat potions." They instructed, Ryder nodding and running off to grab those items.
Cress got back to the top of the ship and went to the very front of it to check out the other ship.
A few minutes later, Ryder came back. He had his combat staff tied to his belt and he handed the potions to River. They would know what to do. "Myra, you should transfer your hands back into demonic form, mak them as sharp as they can be."
He rushed to the front of the ship, much like Cress, and hung off the side of the ship, supporting himself by the rigging of the mast. He saw the figure of her at the front of the admittedly smaller vessel, yet could not distinctly recognise anything that would suggest her a threat. He turned around and yelled at the various deckhands skittering around the deck. "Man the cannons! Man the harpoon launchers! None of ye' should be slackin' around!"
(do you have room @Manduin?)
(Yeah sure, you can join their crew or mine, or… come up with anything really.)
“Oh good god. They’re against us! They must be fucking pirates!” Cress said annoyed, “Calm down bitches we won’t attack if you don’t!” He shouted.
"Can I go over there? Please! I haven't killed in ages." Myra whined, Ryder smacking her on the head. "Oh shush." He said, giving the middle finger to whomever was on the other boat.
The other crew's yelling barely got across, reaching Hoxton as indistinct ramblings, the only thing that he, in his struggle to hear, got was; "Calm down!", but thought nothing of it. When he saw Ryder flipping him off, he instantly assumed the worst. "Prepare the on-deck cannons and the gangplank, we're gonna board the fuckers!" He said, unsheathing a cutlass and getting ready for the eventual clash between the two ships.
Aza sat curled in the hold of Myra's ship, clutching her head. Images flashed through her mind, making her queasy. She often had visions like this, accompanied by flames.
"Mhm, they're getting prepared to board us. I can smell the metal of his sword." Ryder muttered, nodding to Myra to transform into one of her demon forms. "Riv, I need you to pour some poison on your daggers and drink a strength potion."
As the ships got closer to each other, the first volley of cannonballs from the Tidesplitter's front cannons hurtled towards the other ship. Some missed, yet others left holes twice the size of a human head in the ship's hull. "I need every man who can fight on deck, this is not the day we sink!" He yelled again, preparing himself for the attack just as much as he was preparing his crew.
Darkness swirled around Aza, accompanied by brief flashes of pure white light. She knew they were under attack, so she pulled herself upright and staggered up the stairs. "R-ryder. I'm here." She tripped to the ship's railing and vomited into the choppy waves.
Ryder glanced at Aza from the corner of his eye. He shook his head. "You don't need to be here. I'm sure we can handle it. Cress is reckless but good with his weapons, River is highly trained, and Myra is probably running on bloodlust. We need someone to make sure the areas are okay while we fight. Is that fine?"
"Seriously? I dragged myself up these stairs through my own puke to help you morons.I'll be fine. Trust me, I've seen these pirates before and believe me, you'll need my help." Whisking her hand around herself, she quickly healed her seasickness with light.
