Thorne: "Well, I can't guarantee anything. Including safety. Especially if anyone goes into the Everlasting Woods." they look at Ava "Is that not working?"

"Yeah, it's kind of weird. I've never looked like this in a dream. I'm usually in my old clothes," she explains. "It's fine though. I can't really get rid of it in the real world so I guess it's nice for it to not be working."

Thorne: "In a dream?" they frown "This is real, as far as I'm concerned. Unless Emmia did something, but I don't think she did."

"So you're saying I'm not in a dream?" She asked her voice quiet.

Thorne: "Yeah. Probably." they shrug "Sorry."

"Well yeah! I mean, could your brain conjure up something as intricate as this?" Gracie put in.

Ava shrugged and leaned on the table. "It's fine. At least that means I don't have to wake up. Also, I've dreamt up a lot of strange things. usually stuff from history books like horses and dragons."

Thorne: "I doubt you've ever dreamt up an enby god of deceit with beautiful hair, though." they shrug "At least, I hope you haven't."

Ava shook her head. ”No, I haven’t. I don't know much about gods. I heard they were like The Inventors though.”

Thorne: "I could tell you about the gods of Unity if you want." they frown "The Inventors? Who're they?"

”They created everything in our society and the walls protecting us. They also watch over us to help us find our PATH. At least that's what I thought they did but when I became a waitress they started talking about how it was The Investors decision and how we can't question them. Lots of us aren't really sure if they exist, ” she explains rambling slightly. ”Can you explain the Gods of um Unity? Please, they seem really interesting!”

Thorne: "I see!" they smirk "Interesting. I guess you could call them that." they take a deep breath "Here goes:
The Raven and The Dove. Sort of the rulers of the gods. The dark and light halves of the universe. The Raven kinda hates me, and I kinda hate her, but The Dove's alright.
Isa: The god of war. She's the worst. No need to explain further.
Jaunyé: The god of death. She would be alright if her best friend wasn't Isa.
Zoë: The god of nature. He's very cute and he's mine. One of the only gods who actually can stand me.
Emris: The god of magic. He's also nice. Zoë's friend.
Emmia: The god of life and peace. Basically the little sister I never wanted. She and I used to be the dark and light halves of the universe, but then The Raven and The Dove came into existence."
And me, Thorne: The god of deceit. I'm not bad if you get on my good side. Which all of you are on, by the way."

Ava nodded along to the explanation. ”That's really cool. We only have 3 Inventors. They don't have names and no one sees their faces bit they are supposed to be all-knowing and honest and stuff. I don't think they like me or any of the waits, ” she explains. ”Isn't deceit like lying?”

A boy burst into the area in a cloud of black smoke wrestling a small demon.
???: C'mon! Just let me send you back to Hell already!
He reaches for his a scythe that had also fallen out of the smoke but the demon steps on his hand and grabs it first. The boy stands up quickly while the demon wields the scythe.
???: Heh, you can't use that! It only responds to me! He says with a victorious smirk.
Demon: But I can do this! It responds in its raspy voice.
With an evil grin the demon falls through a fiery hole it created and disappears, wiping the smirk off of the boys face.
???: Oh crap.

Thorne: "What the Ed?" *they frown in confusion. "That was a dramatic entrance. Nice work. Who are you?"

(Hehe I remember you from the other chat and that character lol)
Etta whinnies in fear, and shifts her position. She trusts Gracie to keep her safe, but that doesn't stop her from calling out that she's scared.
Rubbing Etta's neck gently, Gracie turns around to face the newcomers. "And who would you be?"

???: Nice work? He just took my Scythe!
He sits down on the floor and puts his head in his hands.
Danny: "My name is Daniel, but you can call me Danny. I'm the Descendant of Death and I'm currently trying to figure out how to banish that demon." Sigh. "The smaller ones are always tricky."

Teidul: Oh, another demon. Already gone, too.

Caderom: I do not believe it is the same kind as you, Teidul.

Teidul: I figured that out. Universe stuff.

Thorne: "Danny. The Descendant of Death." they inspect Danny "Interesting. Was that Scythe important?"

"Death?" Gracie inquired curiously. "Who's Death?"
Etta flicked her ears nervously, but calmed down slightly.

"Like the death god, Thorne was talking about?" Ava asks tilting her head.

Danny: "Yes it was! Now I have to…" He trails off.
Danny jumps up and closes his eyes for about 2 seconds. When he opens the gray in them are swirling while he searches the room with his eyes, noticing all of the different creatures and people. Finally, he lands on a spot in the room where no one is.
"Yes! It worked! My Scythe is right there with the demon hanging on to it!"
He reaches into a cloud of black smoke that had collected and grabbed his Scythe. The demon simply hung on in pure confusion.

"Oh, so the 'Juany' person. Gotcha," Gracie said. "What was that just now?"

Thorne: "To answer your question, Ava, this child here isn't at all related to Jaunyé." they watch Danny with slight interest "And, Danny, please be careful! It was very difficult to convince the plants in here to grow in the Everlasting Woods."
