"That's nice," Gracie said, grateful to have Etta in the first place.
"That's nice," Gracie said, grateful to have Etta in the first place.
Thorne: "So, you have more gods than us." they wince "Imagine having more Isa's." they shake their head "That would not be fun."
Ava stopped petting the horse and looked down at the screen in her arm. It was blank. She tapped it a few times but it didn't turn on. ”Well that's weird, ” she whispered.
(Lol isa is the name of one of my irl friends for real)
Looking up at Thorne confused, she asked "Who's Isa?", then glancing down at Ava, realizing for the first time that she had a literal screen in her arm, she got even more confused. "What's that?" she questioned, gesturing to the screen.
Thorne: "Isa," they say the name with venom, "Is the god of war. She has something out for me, ever since I blew up the Ivory Towers."
She gave a tiny yelp. Gracie questioned in disbelief, "You blew up the what towers?"
Thorne: "The Ivory Towers. Where the gods live." they wave their hand dismissively "It wasn't that bad. It needed to be redesigned anyway."
"O-ok…" Gracie says awkwardly, shifting her grip on Etta's reins. "Y'know, blowing something up isn't the best idea…"
Thorne: "It is when you're dramatic and need to make an exit." they shrug "I just needed to burn that bridge. Actual fire seemed like the best option." they smile mischievously
"A-ah, alright then. But you're a god right? Couldn't you have done that disappearing thing or something?" Gracie questioned.
Thorne: "Well, yes. But I needed to make it very clear that I wasn't coming back." they shrug "And I was angry. So, so angry." they hold up a hand and fire appears, curling around their fingers
Etta whinnied in concern, she was spooked by the sudden appearance of the fire.
"Alright then…" Gracie said. "Just try not to burn this place up please…?"
Caderom: Gods tend to vary where I come from, but I do believe we have a lot. But rarely does anyone meet one.
His pupils enlarge at the sight of the fire, keeping focus on it
Teidul: Yeah..
They pause, their pupils becoming thin slits.
Thorne: "Oh, honey. I'm not going to burn up my own house." they drop their hand and the fire goes out "I've killed people for blowing up my trees in front. I enjoy keeping my stuff intact." they smile brightly "Anyone who messes up my stuff will not enjoy what comes next."
"Well, uhm, I don't intend to?" Gracie replied, her voice rising a pitch higher at the end.
Thorne: "That's good. I like you. It would be a shame." they smile softly "Don't worry, since you're all here for some unknown reason, I'm not going to attack you if you break something. Just… give you a harsh word or two."
Gracie let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding. "Oh good"
Thorne: smiles happily "Not to worry, you're all- probably- safe here."
"Probably?" Gracie looks up at Thorne, worried.
Kheja: has sat down upon a random bench. Grows quiet, listening to the ones around

"Yeah, well, unlike you guys who have a protection of a goddess

Moves a scaled leg, crossing it over the other, leaning slightly back
"Yeah, well, I'm just making a point - I have so many flaws, I have to be worried about little things like fires, and earthquakes, ect." Gracie replied.

Ava stayed silent. She didn't understand most of what they were talking about. She finished her waffles before realizing they were talking to her. ”Ors like a watch. It's where my ID is and where I can see assignments my employer sends me, ” she explains in the same monotone voice used to explain the device to her.
