Arthur eyes gleam with subdued excitement. "Nice. Can I have some?"
Arthur eyes gleam with subdued excitement. "Nice. Can I have some?"
Rayla shrugs lopsidedly.
"I mean, I won't stop you." she says carefully.
"I want some," Blade says excitedly. "And yes, my nemisis did choke on a burrito."
Rayla snickers. "Alright then. I was thinking something more. . . kinky, but whatever."
She waves a hand and another bottle of booze appears for Blade.
"Thanks," she says, taking a swig. "I haven't had this is a long time." She leans against the wall, looking thoughtful.
"It's been a while, myself. Suprisingly, you can't find much good alcohol in the Heavens." she snorts.
Arthur takes a sip as well, remarking, "This is actually my first time drinking alcohol. I think I still prefer lemonade." He places the bottle back down.
Rayla shrugs, taking the bottle back. "Well, your loss."
She knocks back the entire bottle in a couple seconds.
(I'm back!) Cole looks around the group. "Seems I'm going to be the only sober one here soon."
Rayla giggles.
"Hey Cole." she says tipsily.
Cole chuckles. “Hi Rayla.”
"How are you?" she asks in a singsong sort of voice.
“Tired and aching for a good adventure. And you?”
"I'm happyyy." she says brightly, twirling on the spot and nearly falling over.
"Hm." Arthur looks over at Cole with a smirk. "She gets pretty wild when drunk, huh?"
“That assumes she isn’t wild all the time,” Cole replies with a laugh. “Now c’mon, let’s actually explore this old joint.”
"Sounds good to me. Better idea than getting drunk along with these guys."
"Oh no, I'm quite tame." she says to both Cole and Arthur.
She tilts her head at Cole. "Sure!"
Cole gulps. He just wanted to go with Arthur but if Miss Rayla wants to come… “Okay. Um,” He points down the short and bright hallway. “Huh, that’s not what I expected.”
Rayla tilts her head and then laughs. "Oh that's a silly little trick!"
Arthur recalls Rayla's extraordinary method of going up a floor, and chuckles softly. "Sure…. I'll believe you."
He follows Coles finger, and covers his eyes. "Awful bright…. What's over there?"
“I don’t know but I’m eager to find out.” Cole grins and walks. It’s a short hallway filled with four doors, two on each wall. At the end of the hall is a wide, human-sized clock made to look like it’s melting.
"Mmmmm. . . no. I wouldn't suggest opening any of those foor doors." she giggles.
"Creepy… Why is it melting? Or, looks like it?" Arthur feels unnerved by the strange clock. Did it even tell the time properly?
“Um, okay and I don’t know.” The whole thing strikes Cole as very Wonderland-ish. He even spots a mini door inside the clock! What is this house?
