I'm not someone who really cries a lot and so far only 3 books have actually succeeded in making me cry actual tears and there they are:

Wait, what made you cry in Scythe? Was it Volta?

I read The Honest Truth in like 3rd grade and it made me cry… I honestly can't really remember why or what part made me emotional, I think it was something about the dog. I don't know. But I recently read The Knife of Never Letting ago and when the dog in that dies made me cry. Mostly just dogs dying

Not crying, but The Diviners made me genuinely scared for a character's life. I kept turning the pages going no no no no no until I made sure she was safe.

Oh wow what a good time to have this thread bumped.

I finished reading Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes the other day and managed to get through it without crying until the very last page.
