The Story of Vampire Michaela. sobs…
The Story of Vampire Michaela. sobs…
This is making me sad because I broke my ebook reading device and I can't read books now….
I cried at the end of Dawn Treader.
But I also read all the books before so I was invested.
Poet X
Redeeming love by Francine Rivers!
I'm not someone who really cries a lot and so far only 3 books have actually succeeded in making me cry actual tears and there they are:
Scythe- Neal Shusterman
Wait, what made you cry in Scythe? Was it Volta?
^ Yup.
I read The Honest Truth in like 3rd grade and it made me cry… I honestly can't really remember why or what part made me emotional, I think it was something about the dog. I don't know. But I recently read The Knife of Never Letting ago and when the dog in that dies made me cry. Mostly just dogs dying
A Wizard of Earthsea made my little sisters very emotional at one point.
Not crying, but The Diviners made me genuinely scared for a character's life. I kept turning the pages going no no no no no until I made sure she was safe.
Oh those are the books.
DEAR EVAN HANSEN THE NOVEL (based on the musical)
DEAR EVAN HANSEN THE NOVEL (based on the musical)
A G R E E D
I thought the show was based off the no el though?
The book is based off of the musical. The book, from what I understand, is a novelization of the show.
Sort of? The book has more though (bisexual Connor, Connor POV, Evan’s first name is actually Mark, more info about Evan’s dad’s side of the family, etc)
The name thing seems kinda dumb. Like…why change it??
If anyone is interested in an "if you like X show, try Y books" I can post one
I know. It felt like it was really only there to make the “meh” vs “eh” joke that wasn’t even funny.
They both die at the end
(That’s the name of the book)I’ve really been wanting to read that, is it good?
It's so good!!
"Flawed" by Cecelia Ahern and Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices series.
Oh wow what a good time to have this thread bumped.
I finished reading Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes the other day and managed to get through it without crying until the very last page.
The King of Crows by Libba Bray.
God.
I was destroyed.
HEAVEN OFFICIAL'S BLESSING
DONT @ ME
If y'all haven't read "Let It Snow" by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson during winter, you don't know love. Duke's love for hash browns, specifically.
