(oh ok lol)
"That's pretty close, actually. I'll be there in a couple minutes or something." Felix's smile was audible, even over the phone, as he spoke - which only made Zach grin too.

"That's pretty close, actually. I'll be there in a couple minutes or something." Felix's smile was audible, even over the phone, as he spoke - which only made Zach grin too.
”Okay. See you in a minute, then.” Felix felt his heart pounding as he waited for Zach to hang up.
"See you." After a couple seconds, Zach hung up and walked a little ways away from the entrance of the deserted hotel. Turning quickly, he started at a fast pace towards the address Felix had given him.
Felix put his phone away and fell back onto the bed. He couldn’t stop smiling, and for some reason he had way more energy that he had use of. Was this really real? Was Zach really coming over to his hotel? To see him?
Zach neared the hotel, changing back to human form as he walked up the parking lot. This hotel was more crowded than the one he'd been at - but no less welcoming. He pushed open the lobby door and started up the stairs to Felix's room, his heart pounding.
Felix stood in front of the mirror, completely freaked out. A couple of minutes ago he realised exactly how bad he looked at the moment. The hair was more of a mess than usual, and his eyes were still poofy after another panic attack earlier that day. His clothes had gotten kind of dirty and he had no other to change into. It wasn’t even one of his best outfits. You don’t really get to choose which clothes to wear when you run away from home like he did. He wanted to look good in front of Zach, and this was as far from good as it could get.
(oH my god actually me)
Zach studied the number on the door, making sure it was the right one. He tipped on his heels a couple times, ran his hand through his hair, took a deep breath, and knocked. Honestly, he didn't even know what he was doing. What had Felix called him over for? It wasn't a trouble, just - he was a little nervous.
(How big is the distance range for his mind-reading?)
(Not sure… close enough to yell to each other maybe? A bit longer if it is through buildings and walls.)
Felix opened the door as soon as he heard the knock. ”Hey.” He tried to stay normal, neutral. ”Come in.”
(Yeah, that makes sense. Okay)
"Thanks," Zach said, smiling shyly and brushing some hair out of his face. Honestly, the stuff was always in his way.
As he stepped aside to let Zach in, Felix wondered how the heck he was supposed to survive if Zach kept brushing away his hair like that. It was so goddamn hot
Zach sat awkwardly on the bed, glancing over at Felix. "So…you called?" Shoot shoot shoot I am in a room with a pretty boy and I don't know WHAT TO DO
(Mood)
”Yeah, yeah I did.” Felix fidgeted with his fingers. ”I just… I don’t know. I guess I just didn’t feel like being alone.”
"No, no, it's fine, I get that." Zach glanced at Felix's fingers and looked back at his face quickly. That was kinda cute. "Are you okay still?"
(how are we gonna get one of them to confess or whatever)
(Not sure… maybe a sporadic kiss during a deep convo or something like that?)
”Yeah, I’m fine. Hey… I’m sorry about yesterday. Sorry if I scared you or something. I just… things just got too much, that’s all.” He looked down, didn’t want to meet Zach’s gaze.
(yeah okay that sounds good, I hate to ask favors but since Felix seems more impulsive maybe he could do it?)
"No, no, you were fine. You didn't scare me at all. The same thing happens to me all the time, especially whenever my parents are around." Zach shook his head. "God, I hate them. Anyway, more important, are you okay now?"
(Okay sure)
Felix gave him a weak smile. ”I am. Thanks. You helped me a lot, you know. By… just being there.” He sat down on the bed. ”And I know what it feels like to hate your parents. Mine have never cared for what’s best for me, only what’s best for them. It made my life quite a mess sometimes.”
(thanks lol)
"You're welcome. I really didn't know what to do, so I'm glad I could do something." Zach smiled back at Felix, his dull-brown fringe falling into his face.
(I gotta sleep now bye)
(okay bye sleeep)
(le bomp)
(Sorry I had a really long day and I just got home)
Felix breathed heavily. He stared at Zach’s lips as the other boy talked. They were moving so softly, forming words with perfection and elegance. So symetric. Perfect. He swallowed slowly and his heart pounded. He felt like he was about to do something that he might regret later.
Zach tilted his head at Felix. “But it really wasn’t any trouble for me.”
(It’s okay lol)
Felix raised his hand and brushed away Zach’s hair as he leaned in. He kissed him, and honestly the kiss was perfect. His hand moved to Zach’s neck. Felix knew that it was a cliché, but all he could think of was how freaking soft Zach’s lips felt against his own. He slowly pulled away. His lips were only an inch away from Zach’s, and the tips of their noses were touching. ”And… is this any trouble for you?”
Zach’s hazel eyes were wide as he started back at Felix, slowly shaking his head. “Not at all.”
Felix smirked. ”I guess I should continue, then.” He leaned in once more and this time he wasn’t as careful. With new courage he grabbed Zach’s hand and braided their fingers together, opening and closing their hands as the kissing went on. He had never really kissed a boy before, but to tell the truth it was amazing. Felix could feel Zach’s soft breath against his own lips.
