“What?” Zach asked, tilting his head in confusion.

"My words exactly," Felix said. "What the hell are you talking about, mom?"

His mom smiled at him. "What are you talking about? You have obviously already met your fiancé." She gestured at Zach.

“Um…with all due respect…no? He’s not my fiancé,” Zach explained.

"Of course he is, sweetie. You are Zach, right?" Felix's mother tilted her head at him.

“Yes…how…how do you know my name?” He asked cautiously.

(Sorry I've been gone so much today I have helped some people and kinda just forgot…)

"I told you," Felix mother answered. "You are his fiancé. I just got of the phone from a conversation with your mother. I mean, it is an arranged wedding after all."

((It's fine, good job on helping whomever it was!))
"It…what?" Zach shook his head. This wasn't possible. "Listen, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but Felix needs some things of his."

Felix tried to connect the pieces. "Wait… are you telling me that whoever you set me up with… was Zach?"

His mother nodded.

Not now. Please. Just…get your things. Please. Zach urged him, inwardly panicking and pressing his lips together to keep from arguing.

Felix looked over at him and nodded almost unvisibly. He turned to his mom. "Mother, I don't know what you think you are doing, but we only came to get my stuff. There's some things I need." He more or less pushed her aside to make way. Holding Zach's hand, he carefully dragged him past her and into the house, up the stairs to his room. "Close the door," he wispered to Zach as he got in. He couldn't even think right now.

Zach closed the door behind him, turning to Felix. "Do you…do you know what she's talking about?"

He shook his head. He was shook. "No. No idea. I think she's trying to tell us that… this arranged martiage thing would be… us?" He looked up at him. Felix sat down on the bed. "What the hell is going on," he wispered.

"I don't know. I don't…" Zach drew in a bit of a shaky breath. "Later, I think. Where's…where's your stuff, Felix?"

"Over here." Felix got up, feeling a bit dizzy. He walked over to the desk and pulled out a drawer. He took his computer and a couple of small, white jars filled with pills. He didn't even know what to think.

"Okay. Good. And…your computer?" Zach asked, still at least somewhat in control of his thoughts, wrapping a calming arm around his shoulder as the two walked around the room.

"It's here." Felix leaned his head back at Zach's shoulder. "We shouldn't had come here. Things just got complicated," he muttered, closing his eyes for a second.

"It's fine, okay? You got your things. We're okay. We're just gonna go back to a hotel for tonight, and then keep driving." Zach planned, wrapping his arms around him and kissing his forehead for a moment.

"Okay." Felix nodded. He turned around to kiss him back. Leaning his head against Zach's chest, he realised that these were the moments that kept him going. These small, perfect moments in between all the shittyness. They were just… amazing.

Zach smiled to himself, running a gentle hand through Felix's hair. "I don't want to go either, love, but…we have to," He murmured softly.

"Couldn't we just… stay here for tonight? We can lock the door, my mom wont hurt us. Then we can get going in the morning." Felix needed answers, and the only way he could get them would be by asking his parents. Besides… he had still missed his room, his home.

Zach considered this for a moment. It wasn't his to decide, for sure, and he wanted Felix to feel okay. He nodded, pressing Felix closer. "Yeah. We can."

"Thank you, my sugar-coated-precious-sunshine-donut," Felix smiled as he hugged him close. Once he had thought that he liked Zach almost as much as he liked donuts. That wasn't true anymore. Zach was better than donuts.

(Okay that was weird, sorry lol I'm tired cause it's early and my brain isn't completely functional yet)
