Felix hugged him tightly, as if it would put the broken pieces that was Zach’s psyche right now back together. ”Just tell me what to do,” he wispered. ”I’ll do anything for you, you don’t even have to ask.”
Felix hugged him tightly, as if it would put the broken pieces that was Zach’s psyche right now back together. ”Just tell me what to do,” he wispered. ”I’ll do anything for you, you don’t even have to ask.”
"Just…" Zach let out a ragged breath, clutching him tightly as he felt the second stage wash over him, hot, wet tears starting to roll down his face and onto Zach's shoulder. "I don't know."
Felix slowly wiped the tears away with his thumb. ”Then… let me just be here for you. Okay?” He kissed Zach slowly, gently putting their foreheads together.
"Okay," Zach mumbled against his lips, drawing in shaky breaths and nearly collapsing against him. "Okay. Let's…let's go."
Felix kept his arm around Zach’s shoulders and Zach’s body close to his as they kept on walking. He didn’t know exactly what he was going through, but if it was anywhere close to as bad as his own panic attacks he knew that Zach needed him right now, probably more than he wanted to admit.
“I’m so sorry…” Zach said, his breath hitching a little bit as more tears ran down his face. “I didn’t mean…she’s…I must look terrible right now…” He sniffed, leaning into Felix a little as they walked.
”Hey. Hey. Zach, look at me.” Felix stopped once more and gently forced him to look into his eyes. He let his own thumb softly slide over Zach’s cheek. ”Just breathe. She’s not here right now. You are not with her, you are safe. You are here with me, remember? And I won’t let her hurt you again. Not a chance.” He looked into his hazel eyes. They were filled with fear, but Felix tried his very best to convey a feeling of safety.
(Lol we are good at writing fluff)
(yes, yes we are)
"Okay." Zach exhaled in ragged breaths, leaning his head against his tiredly. "Okay. I'm so sorry, just-" He stopped, breathing out and looking up at him, biting his lip in worry. "Are you sure?"
”Very sure. And don’t be sorry for anything.” Felix looked at him. ”If she ever tries to set a foot close to you I assure you I will have another box of donuts ready for her face.” He tried to make a joke, smiling a bit.
Zach exhaled a bit, allowing the tiniest smile to creep back up on his face - it was like the clouds had parted to let the sun through again, if only just a little bit. He leaned forward and kissed Felix gratefully, wrapping his arms around him again.
Felix took a couple of steps forward. With his hands on Zach’s back he didn’t stop until he could feel a tree against the back of his hand. He kissed him slowly but passionate, breathing in the fresh air of the forest at the same time.
Zach smiled into the kiss a little bit, the deadweight that had been on his chest slowly lifting. He tilted his head and pulled away if only for air, looking straight into Felix's eyes.
"Thank you," He mumbled against his lips. "So much. I never would have gotten out of there if it wasn't for you."
”I know.” Felix smirked him a lovefilled smile as he grabbed Zach by the waist and lifted him up a bit, gently pressing his back against the three. ”I am amazing.”
Zach giggled, slowly returning back to his old self. Was it possible that Felix could make him entirely skip stage three: anger?
"You are absolutely amazing," He admitted with a smile.
”I really think so too.” Felix smiled lightheartedly at him, eyes half closed as he kissed him passionately. First on the lips, then a quick one on the tip of the nose. Another one, a more powerfull one right between the neck and the shoulder.
Zach's eyes slid shut as he rested his head on his shoulder, releasing a happy little sigh. "I love you," He mumbled, smiling.
Felix took a deep breath. ”I love you too,” he responded. The first time he had said those words was during a panic attack and the second time was at the house. None of those times counted. But this time… he really meant it. Fullheartedly, completely. Nothing forced him to say it, no circumstances made it necessary. He just told Zach that he loved him because he wanted to, because he did. He had never been so sure about anything in his entire life.
Zach opened his eyes and lifted his head from Felix's shoulder, grinning like an idiot as he reconnected Felix's lips to his. Those three, simple words from one person's mouth made him forget almost everything that had happened - being kidnapped, his mother, the house, how they escaped, everything. It made him forget about his fear, his sadness, and his anger that was soon to follow. They were just them.
(And with that cuteness overload I’ll have to leave… I am like falling asleep over here cause it’s kinda late and I slept like shit last night lol bye for now)
(alright, bye!)
(good morning? afternoon? idk but bump)
(Afternoon…)
Felix lifted him a little higher, making sure not to hurt Zach’s back against the tree. He kissed him again, and again. And again. This was… literal perfection.
Zach smiled into the kiss, sighing a little bit and looping an arm around Felix's neck.
(When are Zach gonna start putting two and two together about the mindreading…?)
