Felix could hear Zach’s thought clear now, but there wasn’t much he could do. Until the mustang stopped, all he could do was to follow it. There was no way that he would be able to find the button while they were both still driving. He drove close to the other car, but still kept his distance so that they wouldn’t suspect anything. C’mon, Zach, turn back… He guessed that Zach’s parents wouldn’t be very happy if they found a wolf in their trunk instead of their son.
The mustang swung into a driveway leading upwards, trailing dust behind it. Zach whined some more, growling a little bit. If only the mustang could stop and the drivers be distracted before anyone opened it…but there was no one to open the trunk. Come on, Zach, change back. Now. Calm yourself down, there's no way out now.
The other car drove into a smaller driveway, and Felix did the same. With a slight feeling of panic he looked at the car’s dashboard. The car was almost out of gas. He wouldn’t be able to drive for much longer.
Distractions, distractions… Zach began to panic as the car slowed to a stop next to a four-story, glass house by an eerily calm lake. I'm still a wolf.
With stupid realization, Zach raised his nose and howled long and loudly. With any luck, the drivers would suspect real wolves and run inside, at least for a while.
Which was exactly what happened. By some stroke of luck, Zach could hear mumbles of disagreement, before two sets of footsteps running away and a door slamming shut, leaving the car idling in the driveway.
No. You’re kidding me. They actuallt stopped. AND left? This is too good to be true.
Felix parked the car a short bit away from the house, so that it wouldn’t be seen. Now came the hard part. It was a glass house. Meaning that it wouldn’t be that hard to detect him if he walked right up to the house. The men were probably inside right now, looking out from the house. Damn it. He hid behind a bush as he tried to figure out a plan.
(I kinda want Zach to get into the house and maybe talk to his parents before saving him? Not sure why though…)
(it's fine, I can make it happen real quick)
After a couple minutes, Zach was able to transform back - and just in time, too, as the two men were audibly walking back up to the car. Zach mumbled something incoherent and touched his ribbon one more time before the men unlocked the car, covered his mouth and held his shoulders, and started leading him inside the house.
A couple minutes later, Zach found himself sat down on a cold leather chair, his two kidnappers flanking him, and his mother - now his enemy - standing in front of him with a look that could kill five hundred men, and one that Zach had learned to be submissive under.
Felix saw how the men came back and took Zach into the house. He followed at a safe distance and hid behind a bush. He could see Zach through the walls, sitting in a leather chair with who Felix assumed was his mother in front of him.
"Zachary Ardolf." His mother's tone was cold, strict, and devoid of any emotion, let alone forgiveness.
Zach gulped.
"Tell me." She leaned forward a little bit. "Why, darling, did you run away? You know we accept you. Imagine if we'd paired you with a girl…aw, sweetie, we were helping you." She drawled sweetly. She's manipulating again. You know it's not true. You know it was wrong. Zach thought to himself, clenching his jaw.
"But you couldn't even be grateful for what we gave you. Me and your father - he's been yelling and walking himself sick, looking for you all around the state. You're lucky-" Her tone suddenly turned blunt as steel. "To have us for parents. You're lucky they found you. You hear me?"
Zach nodded slowly.
Felix saw Zach nodding at something his mother said. No. What? What, that his mother has said, could he possibly be nodding at?! It is all mindgames!
You know it's wrong, you know it's bull, you know it's wrong. Just keep nodding, you'll be fine. Zach was tense as he continued to nod, glancing out the window occasionally.
"Hey, look at me and don't be so sultry. You should be glad we brought you back to a better life. How could you possibly survive out there? Oh, hon-" His mother turned sweet again and lifted his chin- "How could you ever leave us? I know you love the big houses, the nice foods. And the views! Sweety, you belong here. Think about it - you have everything you need right here."
You don't know about Felix, then.
(Awwwwwww that last sentence was so adorable I can not even)
Felix blushed as he heard Zach’s thought. Through the glass, he could hear somewhat what the mother said. He got up and sneaked around the house. He ended up being by the glass wall behind the womans back. He didn’t dare sticking his head up, but he hoped that Zach would somehow be able to see him anyways.
(its all the feels)
Zach's mother began counting off on her fingers, voice soon becoming just a vibration. "Warmth, money, food, shelter, cars, views, a person to marry, schooling, a sustainable future…" Zach was scared to look away from her , but after a minute or two of her naming off things, he had to, looking out the window behind her. Waaaait a minute…I swear to god is that Felix ujtfghohuyfg
Oh yes, my Sunshine. It IS Felix. The one and only. Felix heard his thought and couldn’t help but respond to it in his own head. He smirked a bit, despite the serious situation. Not sure about what to do he ran to the other wall, trying to find a door of some kind.
Zach blinked and looked quickly back at his mother as she raised an eyebrow at him. "And acceptance, Zach, hon. There are a lot of people out there who don't accept people like you. We do."
Zach bit his tongue to keep from screaming, knowing exactly how terrible the words she spoke were. She was like a snake. A crazy, poisonous snake. Break a window, break a window…come in the same door, then… He willed Felix, knowing he couldn't possibly know what he was thinking, but hoping anyway.
(hehehehehe)
(I have no idea what I am writing right now lol this is gonna be weird)
Felix suddenly had a plan. A crazy, stupid plan. A plan that might get them all killed. A plan that would probably just mess up things even more. He ran back to his car and grabbed some stuff. At the same time, he wondered what he was thinking with. Cause it was obviously not his brain.
Felix ran up to the main door. He knocked it, hoping that the attackers would leave to come and open. He waited unpatiently outside the door.
Zach jumped and glanced down the glass hallway. Felix no you stupid run she's going to kill you
The kidnappers and Zach's mother both looked up. "Could it be your father?" She asked, peering down the hall. "Go on and see. It could very well be him," She admitted, as the kidnappers stood and stalked off down the hallway to open the door, Zach's mother following behind them.
I could leave right now. I could break a window and leave, Zach thought to himself, knowing he wasn't brave enough to do so. He was terrified of his mother, and he knew it the best out of anyone.
(Wait what am I even thinking I have no idea how to solve this lol oh well)
Felix put on his best fake smile as the door opened. ”Goodmorning, ma’am. I sell donuts, do you wish to buy some? I can assure you that they are very delicious.” He hoped that Zach took the chance to at least untie any potential ropes that would keep him from escaping. Otherwise Felix completely stupid plan would not work at all.
Oh my freaking god Felix what the actual hell, use your pocketknife or something, my mom isn't that strong, Zach insisted in his mind, gripping the arms of the chair. Stand up, you coward. It's not like she'll hear you. Stand. Up.
(I’m just laying here laughing at my own/Felix’s stupidity right now… oh boy this is not gonna end well haha… prepare for some brutality and a lot of weirdness.)
As Felix went on talking, the mother started to leave. Perfect. He turned to the kidnappers and pulled out the knife from his pockets, stabbing one of them in the stomach and sliding the knife quickly over the other one’s shoulder, making a clean cut. His heart was pounding. What the hell am I doing what if I killed them I have never hurt anyone like this before no what the actual freak is going on
He kept his plan going, though. As the kidnappers bent over in pain the mother turned around, back at him. ”What the…?” She didn’t get any further before Felix smashed the box of donuts on her face, making sure to mush it in real well. When her entire face was covered in donuts and frosting, he ran. He pushed her out of the way and ran like hell. ”ZACH RUN GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE I LOVE YOU BABE!!!”
(OKAY. Um… yeah. That was some of the most stupid things I have ever written, I have no idea why I did that. I am weird. Sorry about that.)
(Nooo what the hell did I even write I regret that a lot lol but it was the only plan I could think of)
(no no you're fine I'm snorting madly)
Zach looked around, standing finally in a panic and grabbing onto Felix's arm as he ran towards Zach. "Felix…what…" He began, still in silent fear mode. "What…how…" He glanced down at his mother, and the two kidnappers, then back up at Felix. "What…"
This, children, is how NOT to rescue your boyfriend from their crazy mom. Felix took Zach’s arm and… literally ran through the wall. He picked up the first thing he could see on the desk, which happened to be a stapler, and threw it at one of the walls. It shattered into a thousand pieces with a sharp sound. And the, he ran right through it. He pulled Zach with him out to the parking lot and ran out on the driveway. His car was only 50 meters away, if they could make it that far…
"Jesus christ, Felix…" Besides that, Zach was speechless as they ran, holding Felix's arm with a death grip. They neared the car just as the screeches from Zach's mother, who had recovered from the donuts, reached their ears. Zach halted in his tracks, paralyzed in fear, looking up at Felix with an expression of pure terror.
”Why are you stopping?” Felix looked back at Zach, trying to drag him to the car. ”Come on, we have to go…”
"I know. I…" Zach stuttered, his feet eventually taking small steps towards the car doors. He reached out his hand to open the passenger seat, swung himself in, and closed and locked it behind him, pulling his knees up and biting his tongue so as not to turn.
