@FormerPeach , sure! Talking animals are a staple of fantasy!

@Reblod , Orion is based of a character I use a lot! I tend to use characters over and over with small changes, or go full out and make new ones! My IRL roleplaying bud and I have amassed an assortment of over 100 characters, and those are just the ones we remember!

Thank you :) I hope this isn't too long; I tried to shorten it from what it was originally

Name: Rheah Whey
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual / Polyamourus
Species: Theain - a humanoid race I made up that gains energy through heat and are generally very tall with very dark skin. They have a magic system but it's long to explain and irrelevant to say here as Rheah doesn't use it.
Appearance: Rheah is very tall, striking and intimidating, and muscular from years of fighting. Her skin is completely black, apart from milky white vitiligo patches that cover her randomly and evenly around her body, including one on her face and neck. She has long, frizzy hair that reaches about a quarter down her back, coloured completely black with a purple sheen depending on the light, sometimes tied into tight dreadlocks to make it easier to manage, e.g. tie her hair quicker out the way before fighting. Her armour is formed of a base pearlescent white skintight jumpsuit and covers her from the neck down completely, and is covered in tiny plates of dark red metal; she has gauntlets and boots of a strong black stone with tall heels she has been trained until she's able to fight in them as fluidly as in flats, often utilising the end of her heels as knives when she kicks.
Personality: Rheah is intimidating, strong, cold, and often serious, but assertive. She speaks only when she decides it necessary, but puts forth her ideas boldly, and doesn't always take well to be insulted or ignored. She's passionate and determined, but clever, planning through important moves. She's quick to move into action and fights for what she thinks is right. She conceals her emotions, often bottling them up too much. She trusts very little. When outsmarted or undermined or overpowered she might become static or shook but will try to recover quickly, she panics a bit when stressed and this frustrates herself about her. When she's more relaxed, as with few people, she's more openly confident and slightly more approachable.
Magic: Rheah elects not to use magic.
Weapons: Dual short swords for short range, that for long range clip together, forming a crossbow because of how they're shaped. They're made of a strong, slightly translucent black stone known for endurance and strength, engraved with gold and silver runes that only make sense when held at certain angles, with the blades edged with a red metal, in a minuscule amount but has graphene like properties that greatly strengthen and sharpen the blade edges
Backstory: Short version is she is the first born child of the King and Queen in a newly built kingdom, when her little brother was growing up she gave him her status as heir and joined the royal military instead, working her way up the ranks before becoming general. Both her little brother and her father were assassinated, and her mother stepped down out of fear, forcing Rheah to abruptly become heir again and then queen at 21, with minimal preparation. Under great stress and and manipulation from power hungry people she fired all her personal, becoming the only person to single handedly control nearly everything in a kingdom. After recovering she formed a small army of knights, from people she trusted, and they run the kingdom with Rheah at her head. She took over a kingdom in the south after its queen ran away, and is allied with a kingdom of interconnected tribes in the mountains. She sometimes leaves her duties temporarily to travel and help people while the Mahra (king of the other kingdom) and Ashida (her most trusted knight) run the place and vice versa; there are always at least two of the three in charge.
Random fact: She prefers to travel far out, alone or with people she doesn't normally associate with as it makes her less recognisable

Scene
A new day dawns upon the world, illuminating the castles and spires that fill the lands, leaving sun-kissed fields in its wake. In a tavern, at a time ill suited for drinking, a lone traveller sits with his ragged hood down. Bartending, the woman eyes him over the rim of her glasses, noting his bright eyes and feline ears. Ruggedly handsome, the traveller drawls out, "Anythin to drink 'ere?" She serves him, perhaps lingering longer than necessary by his table. The man waits, watching the door of the old pub, seemingly intrigued by what, or who, could come through it next.

The heavy wooden door to the tavern creaked open as if on que, and a heavily cloaked figure walked slowly inside to the rythmatic click of heels. Approaching the bar, black gauntletted hands threw back her rich blue hood, revealing a young face with sharp, dark eyes and vitiligo blooming around her nose and mouth. Tight dreadlocks slunk around her shoulders as she swung onto an empty stool, patiently awaiting to be served.

In the shadows cast by the dim morning light a dark figure hovered silently. His hood hid his features but the white of his jagged teeth flashed as he grinned at seemingly nothing. He was waiting, watching, and had been for a while now. Long ears, restricted by the hood, twitched each time the old wooden door opened but no movement held his interest for long. The two souls sitting in the tavern were intriguing but not who was waiting for. Careful not to let his hunter's gaze linger for too long, the raven turned away soundlessly.

Rheah starting tapping a silver painted nail impatiently and repetitivley against the dark wooden bar prompting the bartender walked over to serve her with an annoyed glance. Rheah flashed an intentionally fake smile before ordering, then drank in silence, gazing listlessly at the various pictures and newspaper clippings and job offers pinned to the left wall.

Calixto glanced up at the sign hanging outside the bar. On a usual basis, he wouldn't bother entering seeing as he didn't drink. What was the point anyways in getting yourself so drunk that you had so sense of rational thought? Pushing the door open, he noticed the attire of a few of the patrons. People quite enjoy their mysterious cloaks it seemed. He himself found it to raise more suspicion than anything. If he was caught, then he could change appearance anyways.
Casting a quick glance over the room, he searched for the person he had come for. His boots created a soft drumming rhythm, adding to the chatter as he walked towards a table where an old friend sat.
"This table open for two?" he asked with a smirk. Even with his hood, Cal could spot the familiar feline like features anywhere.

With a look around the bar and a small huff, Semone felt around her neck, where the hide of a bear wrapped around her like a coat. A little inadequate compared to the many cloak-wearers in the bar, but will do, she thought, as she walked up to the bulletin board, a glass of white wine in hand. Countless offers on assassinating people (a little shady, but she wasn't about to tell) and requests to prospect for treasure (everyone seemed to promise a get-rich-quick scheme, which Semone wasn't that opposed to) greeted her, but she only paid attention to hunting requests.

@SparklingComet

Bindi sat outside the tavern. She often got frustrated at its 'No children' policy. Some of her older friends were there and she had to wait outside. Good thing she had brought her book with her, she new she was going to be waiting a while. She opened up her book and proceeded to read.

Ahmik sighed and fiddled with the edge of his hood. He had pulled out a slip of paper which now lay open on the table in front of him. The information on it was clearly wrong. He flicked back his hood and shook his head, letting loose strands of hair fall around his shoulders. His long ears perked up after being pinned down under the fabric for so long. False information was inconvenient but it didn't worry him. There would be plenty of time later. He propped his feet on the table, not caring if he was noticed.

Rheah shot Jael a sideways glance and a raised eyebrow noting her sudden movement but otherwise remained silent and took another sip of her drink, back to lazily scanning the board, searching for anything that seemed particularly challenging - she was in a mood for it, as she often was.

Theo found himself just outside the tavern again. He was of drinking age and he could go in if he wanted, but he just didn't right now. He found a spot outside the tavern and sat down. Theo noticed someone a short distance away, but chose not to talk to them. He didn't know if they were friendly after all.

@SparklingComet

When Bindi noticed someone sitting down not far away she turn their way. She saw that he was old enough to enter the tavern, so why was he sitting outside. Bindi, who was always sticking her nose into others business, stuffed her book in her bag and get up to talk to the stranger. "Hey you," Bindi called out, "Why aren't you in the tavern? You can be so why?"

Rheah finished her drink, and left it neatly on the table next to a precise stack of coins. She stood up, rereading some of the items on the noticeboards that caught her particular notice - something with fighting involved, something difficult with high pay. Something useful. She was picky. None of these really fit what she wanted though - she scowled inwardly, mentally toying between just taking one of the jobs or heading to the next tavern along, wherever she could find it, in the hope of better luck. Her hand itched to reach for the crossbow wound in her butter coloured sash, hidden by the thick royal blue cloak. She didn't like crowds at the best of times. But she forced herself to remain with a usual apathetic and regal stance.

@prollydelphia

A large paper caught Semone's eye, with WANTED at the top of the notice in bright red. Courageous hunters to seek out and kill the hags of Elkwanderer Woods. Reward offered…
Semone tore the job off the board without reading any more on the details, nor taking off the pin that held it in place, leaving a large rip through the top. She scanned the tavern for anyone who would be willing to join her as an impromptu hunting party. Then she realized she was standing next to a woman with a sword, and poked at her shoulder as she whispered, "Hey, you wanna kill some hags with me?"
