Heya! I'm newish to this (meaning every time I've tried, I've messed up in some way shape or form…) and I would love to try fantasy with you if you're still up for it

Don't be intimidated, it's all very informal and you get used to it quickly.

Alright, so in most roleplays, but not all, the creator will put up a form for you to fill out for your characters. Some people put a lot of restrictions, or will ask for no LGBT+ characters. The form is a fill in the blank, and it is recommended that you copy and paste the form into a post.

(Sorry I'm asking so many questions) I wanted my character to essentially be a talking animal, but not a humanoid. I'm just not sure if that's considered fantasy?

Backstory: Grew up with a loving family in a quiet human town. Was isolated from others her age as she was not a human like them

Personality: Is ineloquent, blunt, and hardheaded. Tries to act proper, but she's an incredibly bad actor and liar so it's really easy to tell her true colors. Gullible, but strong and loyal.

Weapons: Has a greataxe and two handaxes
Backstory: Grew up in a human society as a soldier-in-training to put her orc traits to good use, but is pretty unpopular due to her brutishness.
Random fact: Hates alcohol and loves drinking grape juice, but drinks wine to look cool. Is really fucking dumb and hasn't used her last name since she was a toddler, so she doesn't remember it. this is literally just one of my d&d characters.

Personality: He's very charming and smooth, able to win people over very easily but he can be really annoying to some people. Always grinning or smirking and isn't easily embarrassed.

Backstory: He was enslaved as a child to be trained as an assassin but eventually escaped and now tries his best to free other slaves while at the same time working as an assassin.
Random fact: Actively tries to hide that he's actually a really caring person
