Cage runs after them, waving to the neighbor who smiles and waved back. He turns to Leo.
“That’s Margret. She 60, but she makes the best pie.”

“Great” Leo said hurriedly shadow turned down an alley to the right and Leo turned left

Silver leaned on the island in the kitchen, raising an eyebrow. She knew Gabe was nearby. "So… what exactly are we supposed to be doing again? Violet just said to team up and I didn't get much after that."

I could lead her into a trap easy peasy.
He leans on the island counter next to her, close enough that his arm brushes hers.
Information. What kind of information?

Leo climbed up a fire escape “ha like he could beat me”

(Imma just pretend Dash and//or Hush replied and keep Silver talking so they can get out)

Silver rubbed her forehead. "Gabe, can you make my wings invisible again when we go out? That would be so helpful. Then we can walk around town and just… idk. Listen. Watch. We're so used to hiding I don't think too many of us –besides Ben probably– observe enough to notice anything."

(Ben and Violet are still at the house, right?)

This is the weakest plan in existence. Hush reappears (in the same room as Gabe and Sil) and bangs her head back against the wall quietly. "Okay. How about I go invisible and fly up above the city and look for anything interesting or suspicious and we go from there. It's faster than wandering around."
"An alternative plan," Dash says, "Would be to go straight to where the enemy is sure to be, at a government base. It would be dangerous, but there are four of us, and the goal would not be to destroy it, but only to capture one of their scientists and bring them back."

Gabriel turns to squint at Dash.
Yes, please. I like the dangerous ones. It’ll be easier for me to bring you in.

Once Leo got to to the top of the fire escape he started running across the extremely close buildings he stopped right before a large jump “crap” he looked to the side for a fire escape and found one he slowly climbed down it

Duskan stops, disappears his motorcycle (yes, that is a verb), and closes his eyes. Behind his eyelids, he can see two people sitting in a garden. It looks like Cannon Gardens, a few blocks away. Two of them, alone - they would be first. He starts to run.

Silver raised her eyebrows at Dash. "I thought kidnapping one of them was our original plan that we trashed? and if we do go through with that idea, I'd be much more comfortable if all of us were in on it, instead of just us four. Since Hush can fly invisibly, I think we should start with her idea. Once we find something maybe we can decide whether to capture one of them or not. But I don't want to go off and do something that dangerous without Ben involved."

Cage follows, though on ground. Every now and then he glances to Leo on the rooftops.
Shouldn't we stay on the ground so we don’t draw attention? he crosses his arms as he walks and anxiety grows in him.
I wish Ben was here.

Ben gazes up at the stars and lets put a small sigh. The park and garden area were basically empty and only a few flowers were in bloom. A small group of poorly dressed men talked and exchanged jackets on the far side of the park near the highway. Violet returned, taking a seat next to Ben.
“Should we head back now? Maybe they’ve cooled off too.”
He nods. I guess. Geez they’re so frustrating.
He stands slowly and she stands with him.

Gabriel raises an eyebrow.
Now she’s talking about being safe? Honestly. These kids have no concept of safety.
He runs a hand through his hair to pull some of it out of his face momentarily while he studies Dash and Hush’s faces.
Funny. I wasn’t really briefed on them much. Hmm. Maybe they’re actually good at hiding their pretty little faces. Unlike somebody I found flying in plain sight.
A smile crosses his face but quickly fades.
I can’t get attached to this idiot. I’m going to turn her in.

Once Leo got to the bottom he ran through alleys he got closer to the park and leaning against the railing was shadow Leo spoke “how did you beat me?”
Shadow chuckled “like I always do I’m always faster, anyway where’s cage.”
Leo said “no idea”

Cage slowly caught up, taking quick steps but walking and not running. He stops behind Leo and Shadow, his arms still crossed but not in anger. His tummy rolls with fear, knowing that being out and using their powers like this makes them an obvious target.
“He- Hey.” He waves, putting on a nervous smile.

Dash just shrugs.
