Yeah I am! I have a few very rough ideas?? Do you have any preferences for anything?
Not really. Like I said in the other post I prefer wlw or mlm. I have characters in mind for really any situation
Alright! I have some fantasy, some historical(ish), some sci-fi, any preferences?
Whats the fantasy?
(also have contemporary, forgot about those lol. can tell you about those too if you like)
(i also generally lean mlm but would be up for wlw too if you like, most of these prompts are unspecific)
(also three of the four are enemies to lovers bc i'm a sucker for it lol. I know you've said you really like soulmate au stuff, so that could also be worked into these in some way probably)
ok so
I like number 4! or two idk I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers but 4 seems cool
four is fine with me!
Nice! do you want wlw or mlm? I have someone that could fit any role. Might prefer to be the conquered monarch tho
mlm, unless you have a strong preference for wlw lol. idc which one I am, so you can be the conquered prince if you like
I can do mlm and sure I can be conquered, prince. Want to do a small character sheet?
Name:
Age: 18+ maybe?

Sounds good to me! I was definitely leaning towards 18+ for this prompt lol
That makes sense I'll post mine first since I'm defiantly not avoiding my homework for a class I have in an hour.
Name: Cyril Gentle
Age: 20
Sexuality: Gay(This was not a problem in his country. He would have been able to marry a man and still be crowned king. It is also a well-known fact about him since he is very open about it.)
Description: He's skinny and not very tall. He doesn't look like he'd be much in a fight, and that's because he wouldn't. His skin is a nice tan even if he hadn't seen the sun in months. His hair is dark brown, and his eyes are hazel. Before his country was conquered, his clothes were always immaculate, and as it was customary regardless of gender, he would always be seen with light makeup.
Quick personality: Cyril was next in line to rule a small island kingdom. He was one with his people. He would give speeches and host events. as a teen, he would often try to get out of his princely duties to go out and have fun. That fun often included drinking and partying with the people in town or some of the younger guards. Over the past couple of years, though, he had grown and wanted to do good for his country. That is until he failed and let everyone down. He blames himself for his country's demise. He is slowly and quietly coming up with a plan to get his revenge and avenge his family. The usual outspoken, energetic prince has been silent since his capture. He refuses to speak a word to anyone.
Anything else: I was thinking his kingdom was pretty secluded and not very well known and had a very weak military. It was not hard to take over.
Name: Osias Cassandros Dervan
Age: 24
Sexuality: Bi (is known and accepted in his country, mostly)
Description: Osias is tall, with broad shoulders and muscles. He stands at about 6'3", and bulky, too. He isn't a skinny sort of tall. He is rather imposing, really, and his presence is always easily known by anyone else in the room. He has various scars scattered across his body, including one on the left side of his jaw. This scar causes his mouth to twist slightly at the corner, and makes his facial expressions slightly crooked. He has pale blue eyes, and soot black hair. His hair is cut rather short, so that it is not a hazard in battle, and is slightly wavy. Always has a sword belted at his side, and most definitely has a resting bitch face.
Quick personality: Osias has been king since he was 15. His father was assassinated, and Osias took the throne. His advisors were predatory and attempted to control him, and he very quickly became a ruthless sort of ruler, doing everything he could to keep control over his country of Kevra. He had conquered another neighboring country by 20, and conquered Cyril's country soon after. He tends to be very warlike and strict, and is known for having a temper.
Anything else: ~
Nice, I love him! How do you think Osias would treat Cyril? Prisoner of war locked in dungeon kinda thing, treated as a servant, or like belle in the beauty of the beast treatment? That's why I didn't describe what he looks like right now as much. Osias seems like the type to want to set an example. How long should this take place after the conquering? I was picturing like a week, but it could be longer if that fits better with what you were thinking when making his backstory.
I was actually thinking more like a few months after the conquering of Cyril's country? And as for how he would treat Cyril, probably somewhere in the middle. Like. Cyril is mostly confined to his quarters (which aren't nice the way he was used to, but also aren't quite a dungeon cell)?
That all makes sense! Ok, any questions before I type out a starter? I'll include some more description of Cyril in that))
The once elegant island prince sat on the floor with his back against the bedpost and a book in his hand. The stone floor was not comfortable at all, but the sunlight from the window hit this very spot. His long limbs were stretched out like a cat in the sunlight. His hair was long, going right past his shoulders and blocking the very edge of his eyesight as he looked down at the book. He barely skimmed the book that he had read a million times in the past few months, but unless he wanted to give up his silence to ask for another one, it was all that he had. Well, his semi-silence. He hadn't spoken in front of a single guard, but he spoke to a servant girl that brought him his food and clean linen. The first time it was an instinctual "thank you," but after that, he kept conversation with her in his hoarse voice when no one was around. She was nice and he felt rude not saying anything. Plus, he did miss hearing himself talk. Without her, he might have gone mad ages ago. At times his silence felt like a child throwing a tantrum but it was the only thing he had. The last bit of control.
(aah sorry for the wait!)
Osias had had to deal with a lot of headaches recently. The merging of two countries was no small, easy thing, especially when there had been a hostile takeover. There had been so much resistance, though it tended to be a quieter thing rather than violent. If it had been violent, it would have been easy enough to quash. Instead, it was a quieter sort of rebellion that was far more difficult to deal with. Some of it concerned their prince. They wanted to know that he was not dead, that Osias wasn't torturing him for sport. That was one of hte rumors circling, anyway. That Osias kept Cyril chained in a dungeon and tortured him for his own amusement. It was not true, of course, but yet it persisted. He had to find out how to change that.
(All good!)
Cyril's eyes went up to the clock on the wall and he slowly closed his book. At the same time, every day, the guard in front of his door switch. The past few weeks, they have gotten sloppy. one will leave and the other won't come for up to an hour. Today he's relying on that. He isn't going to run he's not that stupid, but he was tired of the same room. He heard there was a library on this floor of the castle and he wanted to find it so bad. He wanted to take that chance now since he's heard of the resistance in his castle, and as much as he's proud of his people for fighting back he also knows that means they might actually do something with him soon. He heard shuffling outside of the door, and a minute later, he slowly opened it. There was no one in sight. He opened the door more and slipped out, and started down the hall.
Osias had been in his office for a long while, going over paperwork and working to figure out what to do. Killing Cyril would turn him into a martyr, and the last thing Osias wanted this country to have was a martyred prince to use as a symbol. That was untenable. So he shook his head, looking down at some of the papers before him to try and work out what, precisely, they could do.
Cyril walked down the corridors turning at random points. He was raised in a small castle that seemed to be half the size of this palace. The winding halls felt darker and more damper here than at home. He wrapped the cloak he grabbed before leaving around himself. He had no plans to leave the castle walls, but even outside, it's colder than he's used to. He tried peeking into a few rooms, but most were empty spare rooms, and after a while, he was still yet to find the library. He decided to walk back to the room but he couldn't find his way back. Passing the same rooms a few times before deciding he was lost. He cursed under his breath, knowing that he would be discovered missing shortly if he doesn't find his way soon. He didn't want to just turn himself in but even if he did he didn't know where to find anyone.
He cursed under his breath, shaking his head. He could not kill Cyril. But neither could he allow Cyril to wander like he was not a prisoner. What could he do with him? He stood, beginning to pace his office. This did not have an easy solution. If Cyril had been a princess, it would have been easier. He could have married Cyril off to a general, arranged a marriage to keep Cyril contained but still in the public eye. But with the young man being, well, a man, it was more difficult to arrange that. Most of his generals would not be interested in marrying a man, and those that would were slightly too vicious for this plan. Much as he disliked Cyril, he was not going to put him in a marriage with a man that Osias knew would abuse him.
Cyril was caught fairly soon after realizing that he was lost. He didn't speak a word as two guards grabbed his arms and lead him down the halls. Another knocked on the King's office door since it was closer than the room where Cyril was being held. "We found the prince what would you like us to do with him, your highness." Cyril watched from behind him, trying to stretch his neck to look over the guard's soldier and see what his office looked like. He had seen the king once, and that was when Cyril first arrived at the castle, slightly bloody and bruised. Now his wounds had healed as if they never existed, and his skin was back to being close to flawless.
Osias arched a single eyebrow when the guards opened his office door. "I wasn't aware he was missing." he said sardonically, pausing in his pacing. He approached, thumb rubbing absently over the scar on his cheek as he looked past the guards and towards Cyril. "And here he is, the man that is causing me so much trouble." he exhaled, those pale blue eyes staring straight at Cyril.
