I have a strong urge to ramble all of a sudden, so how about a story? XD (This story is gonna be super long so get ready!)

I guess I’ll tell you about the time I fell in love; let’s begin shall we?👏 It all started when my sister asked me to download a game with her. She saw some Tumblr posts about it and thought it’d be fun if we played it together. So we took out our phones, searched it up on the AppStore, and started downloading! And guys..the game looked AMAZING! I’d never seen a game like it before, especially on the AppStore! The visuals were stunning, the mechanics were easy to work with, and the game ran smooth as bread moisturizer! But that’s not what got me addicted to it, no, it was something much greater! And that was—the ability to make friends. 😂 See, this game isn’t just about going on a journey and reaching the end, but rather Who you’re journeying with and the connections you make & build along the way! You basically have to make friends in order to play the game. (A simple & sweet concept really, but Dangerous if you get in too deep.💀) Anywho! Fast forward a few months later to me and the now 50+ friends I’ve made. And BOY let me tell YOU was that a stresser! (Oh! And another thing, in this game you have to grind, AND YOU HAVE TO GRIND HARD!!) You know how every game has a ingame currency? Well guess what their’s was? Yep! You guessed it…candle wax.🗿 (Now here comes the complicated part.) Only 5 out of 7 levels in the game have wax, and scouring an entire level with wax will give you 2 candles. Scouring all five levels, however, will give you 10 candles which takes about 4hrs in meatspace. Piece of cake right? right! Remember those 50+ friends I told you I made in the last few months? Well now they’re constantly asking you for help, warping to where you are, and making your playthrough 10hrs+ longer than it needed to be.💀 And this happens DAILY. It was pure peace, and there was literally no escaping it! I literally had to make a schedule for myself to keep up with everybody! (You might be brain brewing “Well why didn’t you just block them?” 🤷‍♀️ Because I had gone in too deep that’s why!😭) So in order to please everyone, I literally had to make a schedule! (I had to wake up, skip breakfast, play the game for 5½ hours to rack up points in the first 3 levels, take a 10min break to eat, play another 5 hours to cover the last 3 levels etc. etc..RINSE AND REPEAT!!) And I did this for months on end, it was mentally and physically draining. And I had gotten to the point where I just couldn’t do it anymore… I was so on low battery,so stressed, I just wanted peace at that point, and to play the game ALONE! ((I’ll end it here and write the next part the day before overmorrow))

…But you know what? Even though I’m complaining about the stress & self-sacrifices I had to make for my ingame friends..It was kinda worth it..😕 (You guys might be asking yourselves “Lagoon, how in the SEVENTH HEAVEN is that worth it?!) Well my friends, the answer is quite simple! And that’s simply because…I loved them. Remember what I said about going in “too deep”? Yeahh..😅 So I actually built like in meatspace relationships with these people. Like guys we talked over the phone, sent each other pictures, talked about our personal lives, the whole 9 yards! And honestly, it was the best time I’d ever had! (That is, before the stress and whatnot.💀) But you see, that’s why the game is dangerous! It’s incredibly addicting BECAUSE of your friends. They’re what made me log on daily and sacrifice all my time. They’re what turned my “schedule” into a routine. All I could think about now was logging into the game and seeing my friends, nothing else. And it went on to be like that, for 6 months… ((Oo! How about I start posting these once a day? 👀 Next part coming up the day before overmorrow!))

You know, I haven’t really talked about what my friends were like.🤔 Well again the answer is quite simple—THEY WERE NUTS, each & every one of them!😂 Like everyone I played with pretty much exuded peace energy! That’s why I had so much fun. But there was one who stood out from the rest of them, and that, was Rider. This guy was freaking EPIC! He was fearless, quick witted, and could literally RIDE the wizard lizards in the game! (I know some of you might not be impressed by that last part so allow me to explain.) See, wizard lizards are literally the only enemies in the game! (There are these beach pincher things too but, all they can do is push you.) But guys….wizard lizards are scary! They are huge, shrouded in darkness, and would attack anyone on sight! Not to mention they all have one peeper which they use as a searchlight to snoop out unsuspecting players!! Anyways—the first time you encounter them is in the 6th level called The Golden Wasteland. (Which wasn’t even golden, but green and desolate.💀) Anyways, here’s the story of how I met Rider! First off, the Wasteland was HUGE so it takes a a while to get from point A to point B. This level was also eerily quiet…so much so that I could hear my own character’s footsteps! It kinda made the atmosphere tense you know? Like something foreboding was gonna happen. But what made it even weirder was the fact that there were barely any players around. The only things that were there to keep me company were some pipes, debris, and like 40 beach pinchers! (You might be brain brewing “Aww that’s so cute! 😍” Nope! Not in this level they weren’t!! ) What I didn’t mention was how this level was also covered in black goop which drains you of your life energy! (And last time I checked Black goop + 40 pushy-shovey beach pinchers = bodge Time) Anywho I managed to somehow make it past the 40something beach pinchers, with a few bruises give or take, and wound up in another area filled with more pipes and beach pinchers. The only difference is there was shipwreck; infested with yours truly…that’s right! beach pinchers🦀 (Btw this is the 4th part of the level) As I’m taking in the scenery, I’m brain brewing to myself “Man this place is abandoned, where is everyone?” And just as I say that I happened to look up, and to my spooky wod collection I come to the conclusion that this place isn’t SO abandoned because there is a GIANT wizard lizard stalking the area! (Now listen, what I neglected to tell you was that in the 2nd part of the level you encounter this monster for the first time! It literally goes “wizard lizard shows up, wizard lizard starts scanning the area, wizard lizard spots some random cute animal with it’s searchlight peeper & freakin MAULS IT!!) Now I’m hither making silent prayers to myself, until I spot some random players shuffling about through a hole in the abandoned ship. As I’m thanking the Lord for answering my prayers I try flying over to the ship to greet everyone! Something wasn’t right though, whenever I tried tapping the “fly” button to make my character fly she could barely get off the ground! Then I remembered getting slugged by those 40something beach pinchers Bro they knocked me into that goop!! 😱 Now I HAD to get to that ship because 1.The chances of that ship having a candle to restore my wings were HIGH! And 2.Players also have the ability to restore each other’s wings! So now I’m tapping the “hop” button like a madman trying to get my character to that ship as fast as I can–when all of a sudden my screen lights up blue and then turns red..? I’m like 🤨 That’s when I turn my camera around to see IT’S THE wizard lizard!!! (When this happens the player usually has about 5 seconds to get out of the wizard lizard’s sight or suffer the consequences. When I realized this, I hollered) I’ve now entered survival mode, nothing else mattered. My top priority, to get to that hole in the ship. wizard lizard: starts growling signaling the countdown’s begun Me: fiercely jamming my fingers into my phone trying to speed up my character who’s only inches away from salvation. wizard lizard: GROWLS LOUDER Me: Can’t see through the tears and accidentally relocates game camera obscuring my view of my character and boat. wizard lizard: Backs off Me: ??? When I opened my peepers from squinting from the inevitable, I realized I’d made it on the ship!! (You ever felt numb after a jumpscare? Imagine how I FELT.👏😂) After a minute of taking deep breaths, I’d finally calmed myself down enough to meet the players aboard the ship. But you know what? Something was a bit off about the ship, I couldn’t quite put my finger on it at the time but then it hit me! “Where are the players?” (I thought to myself while tapping my screen to see where they were.) My game showed them to be upstairs and when I took my character up those broken escalator I’ll never forget what I saw that day. These guys managed to gather up every single beach pincher throughout the entire shipwreck, pile them on top of a table, and had them roasting under a single fire in the middle of the floor…((I’ll end it here…😂 Guys I managed to make this one extra long so I hope you enjoyed it! Even though I really want to keep telling you guys more about my experiences with this game, I’m slowly starting to realize I’m more of a talker, not a typer, so wish me luck! 💀👍))

As my character stood amongst the steps motionless and waiting for my command, my mind teetered between the feelings of amazement and perplexity. “How? WHEN did they do this?” I asked myself while sitting my character at the table. “We’re making cRöB bÖrgErs.” one of them said. “Want one?” “Sure! ” I replied, not really knowing what to say. Intrigued, & studying their characters, I noticed they were two different heights! One looked like they skipped puberty entirely while it hit the other one like a truck! The giraffy one had fierce, intense hair, and wore a yellow shawl! The small guy had a yellow shawl too,..along with a strange muzzle-like mask & wonky-donky zig-zag ponytail. Anyways as we started talking, I remember asking the giraffy guy “What are you guys doing here?” He tells me that this is his lair and that he and his friends hang out here all the time! Bewildered, but also interested, I asked him why. “So we can go wizard lizard riding!” he said. Guys I–

wizard lizard WHO?! I literally almost died trying to get here and this guy’s talking about wizard lizard riding; WHAT?! But then I thought “Oh! Maybe he was joking!🤦‍♀️ My bodge…it’s hard to read sarcasm through a tex–” “I can show you if you want?” he says. “He’s SERIOUS?! Huh, the guy’s bonkers, no doubt about it. 😐” that’s the only rational conclusion I could come to, but as to not be rude, I humored him and said “Sure!”. (Meanwhile as all this is happening, the little guy is covering my character in beach pinchers.💀) Anyhow–I agree to watching this guy ride a wizard lizard, and he proceeds to tell me that he’ll be riding the GIANT ONE just outside; and also to watch from the ship’s windows. (Which I mean he didn’t have to tell me, but Okay! 😂) Without another wod, he flew out of a see-through wall & towards the wizard lizard! I couldn’t believe it! “Isn’t he scared, how could he face that thing? His friend didn’t even react! Like he didn’t try to stop him or anything, he just watched from the see-through wall! Did he have that much faith in this guy? Wow..” I thought to myself as I looked on in astonishment. As the giraffy guy flew above the wizard lizard’s back, he dives onto it immediately causing it to growl as it whipped around and locked it’s peeper on him. “_{Is that supposed to happen..?}” I whispered to myself as his character starts darting towards the ship. “What’s he doing? Is he trying to hide in the ship?! His character’s too far away and the countdown’s already BEGUN! (Also I should mention that if he gets rammed, WE’LL get rammed too, because he’s aiming the wizard lizard straight at us!) At this point the little guy bails. ”Didn’t you have faith in this guy?! What happened to that belief!!😱🗣” I passive-aggressively yelled as the growls became louder. And just when it seemed like the wizard lizard would charge–giraffy guy zipped through a see-through wall; causing the wizard lizard to turn around and resume it’s course. Now, I can honestly say what he this guy did was insane, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t impressive! He was actually the first person I ever saw to face one of those things! It inspired me to be more brave in the face of danger. (ingame that is lol) And just like anyone who’s inspired, you had to know your creativity lightning strike’s name! “Dragonrider” he told me.🗿Anyway, Rider & I started hanging out from then on out! I’ll never forget how bonkers and hilarious that guy was…
((oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof I missed my deadline big-time.💀 I hope you guys enjoyed the story though lol! Btw I was brain brewing about posting pictures from when I played the game, what do you guys think? ))

Alright kids, buckle up, because we've several short stories coming.

• During my first orbit party of competitive little ditty, one of the senior girls had to wear these huge tennis shoes for a little ditty. She was laying on her back on the floor, yanking at them to get them off. We make peeper contact as I was watching her flail around, and it was incredibly awk-wonky-donky.
• My ballet teacher once asked us what the French wod for small was, and all I remembered was that it started with P. Being the genius that I am, I jumped up and yelled "tinkle-tapper!" which was anything but the right answer.
• One of the teachers, who is also the mother of a girl in my class, had recently had a baby. The baby had just learned to walk, and every time someone opened a wobbly flip-shutter, the baby would run in and steal as many peoples' shoes as she could.
• A different teacher also had a baby around the same time. One day, the teacher had to bring him to class bc her husband was at work. We got our costumes that day, and her son tried to eat one of those silicone packets that the costumes were shipped with. Later, he tried to drink out of one girl's water bottle.

I probably have more, but that's all that I can think of right now.

All of these are hilarious 😂 I resonate with the second story on a personal level because I did the same thing in numbermancy. XD

howdy, partner everyone I’m back! ^^ Sorry for the long hiatus, but I’ve been debating for a while now if I should continue the story or stop it here. Although Sky gave me some of the best memories I’ve ever had it also gave me some of the saddest, and I’m not sure if I should share those. I don’t really want to dampen anyone's mood with something gloomy, so I think I’ll let you guys decide. What do you think? 🤔

Sky has given me some sad moments too, tbh. I’d like to hear yours, cuz I’m wondering how yours and mine might differ 🤷‍♀️
