So my world has a kind of religion based around the moon, but I'm not sure what to do with it because it's supposed to be something that everyone treats rather casually? I don't know how to exactly explain it but it's kind of like the moon is not really even worshipped, none believes it created the world or anything, but it being actually considered an eldritch god is treated as common knowledge?
Do you have any ideas for different traditions/holidays or anything of that sort that could come from a belief like that?

Maybe the moon gave them knowledge. Like Prometheus to mankind.

Perhaps they have some sort of ritual they perform when the moon becomes blue or red in order to celebrate it or appease it, like a lunar Xmas or Halloween.
