After a sacrifice had been made, the survivors of the killing game could finally be free, but like those who died, not long after the sacrifice, their vision faded to black. Before anyone knew it, they were back in the real world. The killing game was nothing but a simulation, and the sixteen killing game students were all alive and well, aside from mentally scarred due to what they had to witness and endure during the game.
When Kiibo awoke, he was surprised to see that he was in a human body. After spending the last year of his life in a simulation where he was a robot, it was certainly strange to see that he was a human outside of the simulation. He wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that, but he was sure that he would adjust to it over time. First, however, he really needed to check on the others. There was a certain someone in his mind as well.
While he wasn't sure where the desire came from, he had a desire to check on Kokichi. At some point during the game, he had grown to like him a little bit, enough to consider him a friend rather than an enemy like he had when they first met, and he wanted to check on him. He had to. Something bad could have happened to him, especially as he remembered how he died and how he was poisoned before his death. If that carried over to the real world, it was unclear if he was alright.
While it took a moment for him to be able to get up, as he hadn't used his human body in a year, he eventually made his way to Kokichi's room. He found it difficult to walk, both due to being unused to his body and weak from being in a simulation for an entire year, but he was sure that he would be alright. Besides, he needed to get to Kokichi first. That was still his top priority.
Once he entered Kokichi's room, he managed to give him a small smile as he waved at him. He slowly made his way over to the other's bed, and then he sat down in the chair next to it. Now that he didn't have to worry about keeping himself standing, he could talk to the other and make sure that he was alright. He really didn't know if he was or not, but he still wanted to talk and make sure of things.
"Hey," he spoke softly after a moment. "It's kinda strange thinking that I'm a human… I guess the killing game was all a simulation, but that's a good thing. We're all alive. Are you alright, though, Kokichi?"
There was a hint of concern as he asked his question. He truly was worried about the other, so he had to express that through his words. He wouldn't say anything else so the other could have some time to respond, but his expression showed his concern as well. He truly hoped that he would get an answer, and he would prefer if it was a good one, although it wouldn't surprise him if something was wrong.
