Plot is:
In this day and age, Faries are rare. They've been hunted to near extinction by humans for their magical abilities. Any farie to be caught is studied. Poked and proded to death. Dissected with no mercy. A is just a regular person with very strong opinions on Faries. A is also a gardener. They live in a big victorian style house with a large courtyard behind the house. Every day A tends to their yard, trimming the hedges, pruning the trees, and enjoying the nature, and when A walks into the forest behind their house, they meet B. Unbeknownst to A, B is a nature farie themselves. They grow close, B showing interest and knowledge on all of A's plants, They spend time together and bond. One day, A discovers that B is a farie, and now will do anything to protect B from A's father, who is a scientist

I was thinking a romance, with a sun and moon dynamic if that's okay, mxm or preferably fxf. My character will be female.

Azalea walked through her garden. She took a deep breath. The smell of fresh-cut grass, sweet fruit on trees, and fragrant flowers from bushes invaded her senses. The sounds of birds in the bird bathes, water trickling in the fountain, and all of a sudden, a branch breaking. She turned around, and looked into the woods. She saw nothing. She decided that she should just go inside, but on the way, her curiosity got the better of her. She turned and walked cautiously into the woods, no doubt in her mind that what ever was there was not friendly. She continued on, deeper and deeper into the forest, and then stopped. She saw a woman in casually nice clothes, too nice to be out deep in the woods, just standing there. She looked on for a second then looked away, saying nothing.

Farah made her way through the woods slowly. Her hearing was boosted, just in case. The woods she normally traveled through was full of surrounding dangers. This one, however, seemed to be harmless.

Still, she wasn't very familiar with it, so she was on high alert and jumped at noises even though all her ears detected were squirrels skirting over the dead leaves and birds flitting from tree to tree, chirping as they went. Yet she was still always on guard. It was the way she'd been taught to act.

However, after a while, she determined that there was nothing wrong. She stood still, tilting her head up and closing her eyes to relax in the magic of the forest.

Suddenly, she heard a noise toward her left. It was quiet, but with her enhanced hearing, she heard it loud and clear. Farah opened her eyes and whipped her head around to see something else moving through the woods. It was a person walking through the woods in her direction.

After glancing around to make sure the rest of the forest was clear, Farah waited for the person to notice her, unsure of who it was and what danger they could potentially be. Her powers tingled beneath her fingertips, waiting to be unleashed on command.

But much to her surprise, the woman looked away just as suddenly she'd spotted Farah. The fairy followed the woman with her gaze, keeping aware of her as she moved.

Azalea went to turn to leave, but she noticed the woman was watching her. "Um.. Hello?" Azalea asked nervously. The woman gave off an energy. Just this air about her seemed powerful. And dangerous if provoked. Azalea was never any good atdetecting danger, as her clumsy and curious nature didn't allow room for much, if any, percaution, But this woman told a different story. Azalea was alarmed as their eyes made contact for a split second, shrinking under the woman's unwavering gaze. "I'm Azalea. What are you doing out here?"

@emilyevewrites group

Farah noted the emotions rushing through the woman all at once. Nervousness, apprehension, alarm, fear, and confusion all rolled into one. Interesting… For a moment, Farah worried the woman knew she was fae, but she quickly dismissed the thought. There was no way she could tell.

Azalea. She committed the name to her memory, purposefully not giving her own yet. That would come later. "Just out for a stroll," she remarked, taking a few steps toward Azalea. "What about you, darling? You look a bit lost."

@AnxietyGremlin group

"Just a little" She answered. "I came out here because I heard a noise, and wanted to see what it was, but I'm never this far into the woods, and i don't exactly know where I am, but I know what direction I came from, so I should be able to get back." She rambled just a bit. She was nervous. She didn't know what kind of person this random woman would be, and she looked kind of threatening. She relaxed a bit due to the friendly nature of the question posed.

Farah brushed a low-hanging tree branch out of her way and stopped right in front of Azalea. "As long as you can get back, that's what matters, isn't it?" she asked knowingly. "I could try and help you if you need. You'll be alright out here, though. These woods aren't dangerous. Not if you're familiar with them. Or any plant life at all."

@AnxietyGremlin group

"Yea.If you want to come back with me, you can. You seem interesting." She looked closely at the woman, still unaware of her name. She was making a dumb decision, inviting this random woman to her home, but she didn't mind.

@emilyevewrites group

(Um… doesn't her personality say she's slow to trust? She's trusting Farah pretty quickly lmao)

Farah arched an eyebrow. "I suppose I will, if you don't mind my company." Azalea was oddly willing to accept her. So much so that Farah wasn't sure if this was a trap or not. She kept her guard up despite the woman's apparent kindness.

@AnxietyGremlin group

(She is. A flaw of hers is that can be overridden when she get intruiged about a topic or person, and will do anything to satisfy her curiosity)

"Okay Great." She said as she spun on her heels and started back towards her house. She walked fast. "When we get there, would you like anything? Maybe some water or something?" Azalea asked to fill the silence

@emilyevewrites group

Farah had long legs that had been trained for years. In not so many words, she was able to keep up. “Water is fine, I suppose,” she accepted. “Only if it’s not a problem. I don’t want to impose.”

@AnxietyGremlin group

"No, your not. I offered anyhow" She said calmly as they reached a tall hedge wall. Azalea turned and walked along the wall for a few moments, before turning sideways and walking through a gap in the wall. "This is my house" She said as she walked through the large and extravagant garden, and up to the steps of an even more extravagant manor. "I hope you enjoy your stay"

@emilyevewrites group

Farah’s eyes widened. It’s nearly as big as Alfea. Of course, that wasn’t true, but the fairy was simply in shock by the size of the property.

“That’s your house?” she asked, breaking her composure for a moment. “It’s massive.

Her eyes were pulled away from the castle-of-a-home only by the garden. “Oh, your garden is so lovely,” she murmured, reaching out to gently touch a blooming flower.

@AnxietyGremlin group

"Yea. My dad bought it for me." She said said, turning to look at her.

She smiled. The garden was 100% her work. "Thank you so much. I do all the landscaping myself. " She gazed at the flower the woman was touching. "It occurs to me that I don't know your name" she said calmly

@emilyevewrites group

“What in the world does your father do to earn enough money to afford a house like this?” Farah asked incredulously. She smiled to herself while she brushed her fingertips along the row of some pretty pink blossoms. “You have a talent,” she murmured.

After a moment’s pause, she directed her gaze back to Azalea. Well, there’s no avoiding it this time, she thought to herself before replying, “Farah.”

@AnxietyGremlin group

"He's a scientist. A very good one at that" She said, calmly. She looked at her garden and smiled

"Thank you. I would be careful in touching those though. Those are a special strand of Oleander. Not the best for your health" She said, warning Farah about the flowers. "Farah. That's a nice name"

@emilyevewrites group

A scientist? Farah knew what that meant or at least had a general idea. Shit… what had she gotten herself into. She had to tread lightly now, no matter how kind the girl was. This could definitely be a trap.

She drew her fingers back from the flowers and brushed them off on her jacket. “Azalea is a nice name too,” she replied. “Is that why you’re so drawn to the flowers? Because you’re named after one of them?”

@AnxietyGremlin group

"Maybe. I've just always felt like flowers were special, and needed to be tended to. And I always found I'm good at doing so." She said, smiling warmly. She loved the flowers. They were like her childeren

@emilyevewrites group

Farah nodded. “I have a friend who is very much interested in botany. He would appreciate the wonders you’ve worked here.”

Even without mentioning his name, Farah felt a dull ache of loss. She missed Ben, but she couldn’t go back and see him until everything had blown over with hunting down fairies. She knew he was safe, and she didn’t want to risk his life by going for a visit – or hers.
