The last thing Finn remembered was falling. Falling forever. Now he was on a soft surface and when he opened his eyes he didn't recognize his surroundings. He looked around. Noticing the soft blanket under him.
Zaldi was still crying when they had begun falling. They flopped onto a big cushion and piles of blankets, and in their confusion they looked around and squinted at the bright lights.
Finn looked at the new person. "Umm Hi there."
Zaldi quickly turned and glared at the kid they found also in the pile of cushions. "Who are you?" They asked trying to push the blankets and pillows away from themself.
Finn stood up. "I'm Finn. who are you?" He didn't seem that fazed just slightly shaken up.
Zaldi took a deep breath and sat up a bit "My name is Zaldi…" They continued to stare at the kid, "Do you know where we are? Or how we ended up here?"
"No I have no clue what is going on. This might sound weird but what year is it where you are from?" He asked. He had heard of time traveling magic. He'd be lying if he said he'd never tried it but he knew it either never worked or it took a lot from a witch.
(Ooh, this seems cool- Is it okay if I hop onto this with two characters of mine? Just wanted to make sure it was okay and all,,,)
"I don't really know…" They sighed and tried to get their heart rate back to a normal pace, "But I remember a nice coffee shop, so it must've been sometime in the 20th century?" They looked at the ground as their eyebrows pinched together. Being immortal didn't quite help with good time management.

(of course!)
(Cool! Thank you so much!)
Finn nodded kind of shocked by that answer. "Ok, I was in the 21st century. I'm guessing by that answer you arent… Human," He said hesitating slightly. IF the other person was human he was screwed just for suggesting otherwise.
Ace and Spade looked at each other as they were… falling, apparently. They asked each other questions back and forth, but they couldn't hear anything due to the wind pressure building around them. The two boys landed on something soft, and they looked at what they had landed on. "Dude, is this… a couch?" Ace asked Spade, and Spade nodded. They shrugged, and Ace sprawled himself across Spade's lap. "At least this here couch broke our fall," Ace teased. Spade huffed.
"Yeah…. I'm not human…" they smiled sadly.,"are you a human?" Zaldi looked over and saw two others and murmured something to themself under their breath
Spade grumbled, and Ace was just silently making himself comfortable on Spade's lap. "Dude, could you, like… Not sit on my lap?" Spade asked Ace, and Ace rolled his eyes. "Ugh, fine. Such a damn killjoy," Ace replied, getting off of Spade's lap. Upon further inspection of the boys, it could be seen that Ace and Spade had a symbol of some sort over their left eyes.
Zaldi sighed and walked over to the two boys "Hello… um I'm Zaldi…. who are you two?" They asked, a little quietly, but they hoped the two kids heard them.
Ace and Spade were slightly startled by the greeting. They looked at Zaldi. "I'm Ace, and this is Spade," Ace said calmly. Spade nodded in agreement.
Zaldi looked into their eyes and noticed the little symbols and made a mental note that these two probably weren't human as well. "c…cool… um what time are you from?" They asked as they tried to keep themself from nervously pulling at their sleeves
"21st Century- I think. I'm no good with time and stuff," Ace replied. Spade briefly inhaled and ruffled Ace's hair. "Yeah, you're right," Spade reassured Ace, and Ace sighed in relief. The symbols on their eyes seemed to match their names; Ace's symbol was a heart, and Spades' symbol was, well, a spade.
Zaldi smiled a little bit, they weren't the only ones bad with time, "Um… my name is Zaldi…" They offered, trying not to just ask all the questions. their heart felt heavy and they really wished for a cup of coffee.
Ace smiled childishly, and Spade smiled as well, but more kindly. "Nice to meet you," Spade said. Ace nodded and exclaimed, "Yeah! Nice to meet ya!" Ace definitely seemed like the obnoxious nut of the two.
Zaldi was a bit startled by the loud exclamation but managed a sad smile toward Spade, for they knew Ace must be a handful. "You see oddly calm about falling into a pillow and blanket pit, does this usually happen for you guys?" they asked finally giving in and pulling at their sleeves once more.
"I've been sleeping on this one's couch for a whole year, so I'm pretty used to it," Spade replied, pointing at Ace, who had laid back down in Spade's lap. Ace nodded and poked Spade on the cheek a few times. "Yeah, he's right," Ace said to Zaldi, confirming Spade's reply.
"Oh, um… how long have you known each other or been together?" They asked, presuming they're either really close friends or in a relationship
