Kokichi had been walking down the stairs without a care, well, until his crush walked up them. Then he did the most embarrassing thing possible, he missed a step and fell down the stairs

Kiibo happened to be walking by at the time. He simply had the intention of going to class like most of the students did, but his priorities changed once he saw Kokichi miss a step. He had no idea what he felt about the purple-haired boy, as he tended to tease him, but he felt like he cared about the other. He knew that the boy teased him just to see his reactions, so he couldn't truly be mad. He considered Kokichi a friend, so he had to help him.

As soon as he saw Kokichi trip, he ran to catch him. He got there in time and managed to catch him before he could hit the ground. He did fall a bit by the time Kiibo got there, but Kiibo got there before he could severely injure himself by falling down the entire flight of stairs.

"Are you alright?" Kiibo asked him softly. "You fell down a few stairs. You're not injured, are you?"

“ my head hurts but yeah I'm fine..” he said softly

"Are you sure that you're okay?" Kiibo asked him softly. "From my knowledge, injuries to the head can be rather severe, although I am unsure how badly you were injured when you fell. However, I do feel worried about this situation. You're not in much pain, are you?"

“ I might need to go to the nurse, “ he said softly

Kiibo nodded. "I can take you there now. Then we can make sure that you're truly okay," he replied softly. "Apologies if I've been worrying too much. I just, well, I care about you, so of course I feel concerned when I see you injured."

He sighed softly as he carried Kokichi to the nurse's office. He remained worried about the other, even if he appeared to be talkative on the way there. He had done a lot of research to better understand his human classmates, so he had a decent understanding of things, but that also meant he knew how bad things would get. He would sometimes associate things with the worst just in case, especially with friends. He cared a lot about them, so the worry was natural.

"Hey," he said softly as he entered the nurse's office. "He fell down the stairs and now his head hurts. Could you make sure he's not severely injured? Please?"

The nurse nodded and checked the other with a sight test “ he's concust but he should be alright.”.

Kiibo nodded. "Thanks for making sure that he will be alright," he stated. "Is there anything else I should know? I'd like to ensure that he recovers."

“ just stay with him and make sure he stays awake “

Kiibo nodded again. "I'll be sure to take proper care of him!" he assured the nurse. "Is there anything else to note? How long should it be until he recovers? I'll look after him until I know he's alright!"

“ he can go to bed tonight but no naps what so ever.”

Kiibo nodded. "Got it! Unless there's a final thing I should know about, I'll be on my way! Thank you for the help."

“ nope, just take him with you,”

Kiibo nodded once more and took Kokichi with him. "No need to worry! I'll be sure to take good care of you!" he assured the other, appearing confident in himself. "I'll just take you back to my dorm, and you can relax. Just don't sleep, got it? If you need anything, just let me know, 'kay?"

“ Okay..” kokichi said softly and yawned helplessly

Kiibo sighed softly. "You can't sleep just yet, Ko…" he told the other. "What can I do to keep you energized for the day? I don't care what it'll take; I'll do it!"

“ I'm not sure, I usually am napping by now, I have a night shift job..”

"Well, you're not attending work tonight, that's for sure," Kiibo stated. "You truly need to rest so you can recover, but I'll be sure that you're rarely bored or unhappy! I'll prove that I can do this!"

“ Okay kiibo”

"Anyways, we're at my dorm now, so I'm gonna put you down, alright?" Kiibo asked softly. "Just know that I'll be here to care for you."

“ okay, thank you..”

Kiibo shook his head as he placed Kokichi on the couch. "No need to thank me. I'm just here to care for you like any other friend would be. I want to see you recover, so I'll make sure that you do."
