History - What is The Krypt Chronicles’s history?

This universe started out exactly like ours, it stayed the exact same for millions of years... That is until 2012, the year the Twilights fell. Magical creatures that came in all shapes and sizes, they came to our planet and bonded with select humans, giving them extraordinary powers. Their bonds came with much misfortune though, as the being they are bonded with will be heavily enforced to Murphy's law.
