humans and witches live in the same universe. most humans don't believe that witches exist, but the ones that do hate them and hunt them. they believe that sorcery is evil and unholy.

In the 1600's humans discovered witchcraft and used it for many different reasons. Some humans thought it was against gods wishes and others just wanted it for themselves. In result they hanged and burned witches to the point where there were only small numbers and they began hiding in remote places like, forests, caves, and abandoned areas. After two hundred years the belief of witches is mostly non-existent. Over the two hundred years of witches not being see or heard of they have evolved from doing magic and making it, to having it, or being born with it. The type or how much or how "powerful" it is depends on genetics of course.

witches live in hiding and often group together for safety. There are more "powerful" families though, they are respected by most witches alike.

Physics is basically normal, except for magic.

The witches believe in three gods. The immortal three. In the early times of magic the three learned how to make themselves immortal and defend against humans.
