When Edward was 5, He broke a relic that put his family in debt, Sicarious spent time out on sea trying to pay for it as a pirate, He's back- this is the non-canon version of it where everything worked out and Carosa never occurred.

A lot of my inspiration is pirate media, things like Assassins Creed Black flag, Pirates of the Caribbean and things along those nature.
