Oneirataxia
Land of humans with dragon wings and tail, who were gifted elemental magic from the gods.
Fantasy
Eirlys, the goddess of all of Oneirataxia, decided to create the universe.
Her children, the gods and goddesses of what would be the elements, put their magic into 3 magical gems, called the Orphic stones. These are what give the Oneirataxians their magic.
However, Mortala, the shadow god, did not approve of that plan and instead created the shadow spirits, his puppets.
After awhile he got so aggravated by this world that he sent the shadows into Oneirataxia, causing havoc across the world.
Eirlys was highly angered by this, so she punished him but being unable to interact with that world in any way, and the way he could was to create dragons, and that they must not cause any destruction. Though, he sent them to destroy the Orphic stones, but failed.
Eirlys took all his ability, and he was unable to interact with the world in any way, once again.
As part of the punishment, he wasn’t allowed in the heavens anymore.
He decided to create a world under it all, where the shadow spirits lived and he was their king, controlling all they do, and plotting again Eirlys. However, the only way she could die is if she ended her own existence, so he decided that some time,
when the exile spell wore off and he could use his abilities again, that world would not be the same for long.
And that time came.
The 8 gods gave magic to each of the 8 countries, Heliophilia, Psithusm, Nefelibata, Novalunosis, Yeoubi, Izles, Noirceur and Flotrancia. The magic can do things such as making plants grow, or making a dark area light, it depends on the country they are from. Oneirataxians typically get their magic around the age of 8-10, and usually is celebrated
very much.
Magic starts to get weaker around the age of 40-50, quicker if used a lot.
Swords, if blood of the owner is poured in a compartment in them, will make them appear in the owners hand whenever they want, though this enchantment only lasts around 15 years and fresh blood much be poured into it. Applies to other weapons such as daggers.
