Inspiration - What were your major sources of inspiration for The Shapeshifters Book One?

Major inspirations would be The Animorphs, The Maze Runner, and Hermitcraft. The Animorphs had a concept that I liked and I adapted it significantly and Hermitcraft had some great personalities I was able to observe.
