Persona

The main character of this universe is a 15-year old boy named Xavier Goodman (may change his name), a student at High Tech International in Davenport (might change this too). After a hazy night he wakes up with newfound powers that allow him to shapeshift, teleport, phase. He decides to become a vigilante in hopes of gaining attraction, as well as hopefully lifting the ban of superheroes in the city.

This universe is basically the real world with added fictional aspects. The origin is the same as our universe.

Davenport's important history:

The Rise of Vigilantism (2012-2016): An outburst of vigilantism occurs. There had been no evidence of superhumans before, and no one knows exactly what occurred to cause the sudden change, but people suspect the bombing of Central Spire played a part in it. Crime is at an all-time low. Due to this reason, the city took no action against the vigilantes.

Davenport's Uprising (2016-2018): 4 years since The Rise and citizens and government officials have begun to take notice that superheroes are doing more harm then good. During their battles, many properties are damaged and the city cannot afford to waste anymore money on preventable expenses. Discussion of a vigilantism ban is brought up.

The Prohibition (2018-???): Citizens are outraged. A decision must be made. Government officials decide to prohibit any vigilantism in the city once more. Supers go into hiding. Crime rates skyrocket.

New Beginnings (2026-???): Present time.

The Laws of Physics are the same as the ones in our universe but they are able to be warped if a person has the power to do so.

There is no set power system in this universe. Superhumans, superheroes, mutants, etc. all have their own personal power systems that come with their abilities.

The story takes place in 2026. During this time, society's technology has progressed faster with the discovery of a metal known as "pyrate" or "Cain's gold". Using this material, stronger machines, buildings, and weapons were made. Other discoveries have been have been kept secret from the public for further experimentation.
