Prophecy Realm

One of the many alternate dimensions (or "Realms") connected by Nihilitree

This Realm is set in Medieval times with mythical creatures such as Dragons and Unicorns

Science fantasy

Long, long ago, before humans existed in any way, the Gift arrived
It fell into a lake that a very large amount of creatures drank from
These creatures were affected by the Gift in strange ways that caused them to evolve
The first one to drink from the lake after the Gift was added became the world's first Dragon
The oldest, the wisest, and the strongest
It goes to sleep for thousands of years at a time [this may change in the future]
The other animals end up evolving into other mythical creatures (Centaurs, Unicorns, etc)

Fast forward millions of years to medieval times, a group of knights is travelling with a young, aspiring explorer
She's not as scared as she should be, especially considering how far they were from the safety of the kingdom, and she runs ahead every so often
At some point, she comes across a Dragon sleeping in a cave, the beast larger than any other in known history
Knowing that it should be safe as long as the Dragon remains asleep, she starts taking notes on it and the cave it rests in
Then the knights catch up and they get the wrong idea
They all start attacking the abnormally scaled Dragon, barely managing to cut it near the claws, and it wakes up
It kills everyone but the young explorer, then it attempts to kill her as well
It slashes and makes a rather fatal wound in her chest, but she somehow survives
Nobody knows how, they just know that she returned without any guards and with a surreal story to tell
The following night, she has a vision
The start of a Prophecy

Riftmaster's Gift caused beings such as Dragons and Unicorns to exist, then some of it's Energy finds it's way to the Seer through the first Dragon

Same as our own

Humans don't have Magic, but some creatures do
