It was created by Vask and Dreida, entities worshipped by the Vaskarn cult and Dreidan Mages of Novistrad. The present year is 1155 P.G.A..

The fictitious world of Faerhyngard, with multiple countries, city-states, provinces, kingdoms, empires, and other types of territories is the setting for this universe. The Estra are a group in Faerhyngard that train elite warriors and strategists in service to the rulers and ruling groups of Faerhyngard. The Estra’s Headquarters lies on a rocky island, in a victorian-type compound, made of igneous rock. It is known as Dahyls Comraich, the Estra palace. There are so many legions- or ruling groups in Faerhyngard- that it would be very difficult to try and include them all.
Some of them are: Australis, the victorian country of the Estra’s origin, Kreadys, the mountain kingdom of caves and stone palaces (not to mention monsters), Toerda, the democracy of aristocrats focused on business and marketing schemes, Rhodan, the desert empire of spices and oasis paradises, Estellia, a peaceful place of volcanoes and geysers, Novistrad, the icy religious parliament of dragon worshipping mages warring with corrupt cultists, Meridys, the drastic nation of natural wonders and sprawling cities, Suniria, the tropical paradise with a criminal underbelly, Mystrygard, the aft-spoken land of mystery, and Shinto, the zen nation of ninja and samurai. There are also the three city-states of Chria, a port city with a booming maritime, fishing, and ocean aesthetic, and Lhaso, a city of rambunctious outlaws and corrupt politicians, and Dahlys Comraich, home of the Estra.
Marna- the queen of Australis, Vara- the Chancellor of Suniria, Orcai- the prime minister of Novistrad, and Kaila and Meek- the twin rulers of Shinto are among the rulers.
