Description - How would you describe The Impossibles?

Seven teens around the world are tasked with the responsibility of saving the universe. It all begins when Amelia receives a message via dreamscape telling her to "find seven others like her" and she sets off to find other people with powers. She and Leo travel around the world, using hints given to them by the mysterious "Alethea." Soon after, the seven (possibly 8?) find themselves travelling through realities to fight and defeat the villain behind all of this.

(guess what i don't have a villain!)

History - What is The Impossibles’s history?

I don't have much yet.

Seven (possibly 8?) teens around the world have to "save the world" (shitty, I know). The year is 2200, and the beginning of a century is ensuing, but the planet is in a superbly shitty condition—humans have returned to a state of extreme oppression, almost worst than slavery because it's so easy to overlook, to ignore. The U.S. Constitution was burned by a group of mass terrorists; the same group that also managed to assassinate several royal families, monarchs, and political leaders near the end of the twenty-first century. In a flurry of confusion and fear, leaders from near all countries banded together under one mass government. Countries that didn't attend the United World Recovery Convention (UWRC) or sign the United World Recovery Treaty (UWRT) are considered rebel outcast countries, and there are very, very few not apart of the United World Association.

The UWA worked well for the first seventy to eighty years—global efforts managed to eliminate most pollution and inequality, until what citizens call the Invisible Holocaust started. Political leaders with age-old mindsets began to take over the media and mainstream infograms, and people of the "minorities" were pushed back into submission and oppression. It's called the "invisible holocaust" because it recreated the old patriarchy and gave all the wealth and power to the men. Women and people of colour were plunged back into unsafe neighbourhoods and working overtime; and since the high class ruled the media no one was able to do anything.

Factories were brought back due to lack of employment and all the work that had been done to save the environment completely unravelled and by the middle of the twenty-second century, the world was at its lowest point ever.

The universe exists like an onion, almost; several layers of reality are built outside of one, solid, core. Each layer is dependent on the other and contains an entirely different dimension, but they aren't solid. The state of all layers outside the core is dependent on the state of the core because if the core breaks, all realities will come collapsing in on themselves.

Earth, our earth, is the core. And the planet is falling apart.
