Land of a Thousand Magics

Everyone has some sort of magical power. Some are stronger than others and this causes a sort of heirarchy to form. The ”Base” of your power changes depending on where you were when something life changing happened to you. Sort of a dark ages setting in time.

Fantasy

No one is quite sure why but the entire known realm began exuding a sort of thin wispy gas of sorts of varying colors and sometimes shapes. The characteristics of the gas changes depending on where you are. This has led to the creation of borders in between areas that have similar characteristics.

Different “bases” that are pretty much elemental magics but specific powers of the people vary largely.

Only dark age levels of technology maybe slightly higher however the magic of the people plays a huge role in all of their creations.

Same basis as the real world however can bend through the powers of individuals.
