The Festival of Lights
A yearly celebration in honor of the goddess Avi
Festival
Feasts, dancing, wearing elaborate costumes and masks, magical light displays, fireworks, music, contests
The Festival of Lights symbolizes the arrival of the goddess Avi, her influence on the arts and the Summer domain, and her eventual banishment as the world descended into chaos.
The first records of the Festival date back to 50 PB (post-banishment)
The Festival is very important and sacred to the people of Summer. It is a celebration of their culture as well as a lament to their long-departed patron goddess.
