• Large-scale festivals with many different shops and games are held in towns and cities around Kaze
  


• People write wishes on colored strips of paper called tanzaku and hang them on bamboo trees called Wish Trees


• Trees and decorations are set afloat on a river or set aflame around midnight or on the next day to represent their wishes journeying towards the stars, where they will be safe

Symbolizes a single night of peace between Jhin and Ashika, who are normally fierce rivals with each other

Jhin and Ashika are normally fierce rivals. One summer night while they were fighting, they both noticed a shooting star. As they halted to look up at it, the sky suddenly filled with thousands of stars as they parted the clouds. The view filled the two Guardians with peace and for that night alone they halted their clash to stargaze together, silently making wishes that only the stars knew. Thus, people designated this night as a holiday in which they write wishes in hopes they come true.
