Jasalon

For a long time Jasalon existed entirely as part of the underground, inhabited mostly by drow, dwarves, vampires, and other creatures that prefer such an environment.

But when Mor Rhoding was cleansed of the magical radiation that allowed others to move in many were quick to point out that the overlays of underground maps showed the city resting in the continent's northeastern mountains.

Sure enough Jasalon had an above ground entrance that had been sealed since the time of the magical radiation. It took some convincing, but eventually it was opened up to allow for outside trade with the budding outposts popping up across the continent. Now it's a major trade hub for Mor Rhoding in general, and a space that anyone there knows they can run to if they need shelter in case something happens.
