Judgement before the High Council

Ember takes Roger and Brent to the Council Chamber, hoping to be showered with praise for apprehending them! Unfortunately she just gets yelled at for unauthorised use of the Portal. All three of them are effectively grounded in Hearth until further notice.

Roger, Brent and Ember are Not Happy. They have a secret meeting, Brent tells Roger the rest of the truth, and they all decide to go back to Cambridge together to find Netherith.

Brent, Ember and Roger take a walk through the city. News spreads pretty fast so everyone's heard about the guy from Beyond already. Ember's aunt and uncle TOTALLY see this as a chance to get some cool gossip so ambush them and invite Roger to stay. Brent rescues him from having to stay permanently but the poor guy does still get invited for tea.

In the morning, the trio meet up with Heather and Wraith and plot their escape. Brent freaks out when he realises who the portal keeper is, Wraith sets Snargle on Acacia, and they all absolutely leg it through the portal. Someone spots them - Acacia?
