Mason Gerald Keldo and Cierra are fishing together.

Mason and Gerald are talking about Canis and Bootis. Mason wants Gerald to teach him how to ride them.

Keldo notices The hunting party (Melinda, Johanna, Brian.) returning to the wagon. Canis has a dead buck over her back. Mason reels his line in and goes to greet them. Cierra gets a fish.

(Intro)

Melinda is telling an exaggerated hunting story to the others around a campfire. Her ridiculous story makes Keldo want to go with them on their next hunting trip. (Melinda disregards him, claiming he's too young)

Megan comes out of the wagon, vomiting. The mood sinks. Johanna runs to comfort her.
(Flashback) (455)
Falonde village is burning. Mason is buried under a collapsed wall. He hears Melinda's voice as she digs him out. She hoists him onto his feet, checking his injuries. He stares up at the sky, winged beasts still flying around. They launch balls of fire down towards the earth. Melinda screams for help, trying to carry Mason.

Brian appears, helping her carry Mason to a wagon. A few others climb into the wagon. Lloyd orders Gerald to get the wagon moving. He leaves the wagon as they head out of town.

The group is traveling in the wagon. Gerald and Mason are in the front talking about the horses. Brian is napping in the wagon. Keldo and Melinda are playing a board game together. Megan and Johanna are sitting in the back.

Gerald notices a path. He quickly tells the others, explaining that he thinks it has to lead somewhere, such as a town. Melinda says they should follow it. Gerald leads the horses onto the road. They follow the road for a while. Mason spots a town. Everyone gets excited.

They head into the town. They sell some supplies and split up. Melinda, Cierra, and Gerald head out. They look for a doctor. An old woman approaches them, grabbing at Melinda. Melinda pushes her off. The woman wanders off. Melinda notices a mark appear on her arm. They speak with a doctor (Tevon Tucker) and he tells them to bring Megan in tomorrow.

Mason and the others are approached by a priest (Massimo Luge) around the wagon. He invites them to church on the coming Sunday.

On their way to the motel. Melinda Cierra and Gerald are attacked by a bipedal monster. It has several smaller monsters with it.

Megan is seen by Tevon Tucker. He prescribes her with some expensive medicine but she can't afford it. She leaves. Outside she notices the monster.

Mason is feeding Canis and Bootis when he hears the commotion. Keldo freaks out. Johanna is asleep in the wagon. Brian tells Mason to get the wagon ready.

Melinda fights the bipedal monster. Gerald and Cierra try to shepherd people to safety. The monster gets a hit on Melinda, sending her into a wall. The smaller monsters scatter, swarming the town. Gerald helps Melinda. Cierra watches the monster attack people. The three of them run.

Megan is attacked by one of the smaller monsters. She struggles against it, managing to get herself out of its grasp. The bipedal monster climbs the biggest building in town and roars. Megan makes it back to the wagon. They all quickly pack up, heading out of the town.

Massimo Luge runs out of the church, screaming at the monster. Cierra grabs a pitchfork, charging the monster. She attacks it. The monster kicks her and notices the wagon.

The mark on Melinda's arm starts glowing, emitting steam. She screams. The bipedal monster charges at the wagon. Mason jumps out. His arms engulfing in flames. He attacks the monster, tearing off one of its arms. The bipedal monster recoils. Mason recovers Cierra and returns to the wagon.

Cierra panics. refusing to leave the other townsfolk. The others berate her, refusing to put their own lives in danger. Melinda speaks up. Agreeing with Cierra. She claims that Lloyd would never have abandoned them. She volunteers to take care of the bipedal one. Gerald stops the wagon. Melinda charges the bipedal monster again. The others pick up weapons like shovels and such. Mason follows Melinda. Melinda attacks The BM, knocking it over. The monster attacks. Mason kills it instantly. Melinda is surprised. Mason is confused. The battle continues as more townsfolk begin taking up arms against the smaller monsters.

It takes a few hours for them to finish the small monsters off. Three people were killed, even more, injured.
